2nd Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning
It hadn't taken too long for Warren to figure out how to navigate the second floor common room, and he'd managed to scrounge up some crayons and blank paper to set onto a table for his unexpected roommate.
That accomplished, he was going to leave her to her own devices now, with Saturday morning cartoons on the TV in the background. They were, he figured, excellent diversions to spare him from having to babysit, and with her out here, there was no chance of that kitten eating her while he fled for his sanity's sake.
"Bye!" she called cheerfully and then, well, Kururu had crayons. And paper! And she was doing her Very Best to draw rainbows. ... This was harder than it sounded when you were barely taller than the crayon, okay?
It absolutely wasn't going to stop her from trying! Let's go!
[Hinata is Kururu from Bottle Fairy, la! Warren has fled the room (and mucho thanks to
not_a_parakeet for writing half this post!), Kururu is still there, and the common room is open as such things are!]

Karla didn't deal with stupid very well. Especially when said stupid was coming from where her very smart, very keen friend should be.

Even though she wasn't sure she remembered what it was Karla had actually said.

Much less efficient than calling things in, really.
"Could you do me a favor?" she asked, giving 'Miria' a winning smile as she dialed a number. "Could you leave a message for a friend of mine? A really long rambly one if you can. Tell her about you, and Isaac, and being a world-class thief. She'll be so amazed we met."

"Um... how does this thing work?" She poked at it awkwardly.

"Hi! Can you hear me? I hope you can hear me! I'm Miria! Miria Harvent! It's nice to meet you! What's your name? I'm sure it's a really cool one. Oh, hey, have you seen Isaac? I can't seem to find him! If you do spot him you have to let me know, okay!"
And that was just the beginning.
