Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday Night

Tonight was a very important night. All thoughts of the weekend and issues with her father and anything else had been forgotten. Raven was in the common room with the TV on, and woe be to anyone who tried to change the channel.

Yes, that's right, Rumor Gal was back.

"You must be happy that the show's finally back," said Hoshi, cradling Porthos in her hands as she grabbed a seat on the couch. For her part, Hoshi was glad to have a little bit of normalcy back in her life.

Hurley wandered into the common room and chuckled. He sat down on the couch and held out the box he'd carried in with him. "Anyone is welcome to a ho-ho."

"Though this storyline with the girl and the drugs and the coat just makes me want to shake some sense into her," said Hoshi. It was a good thing she had Porthos in her lap, so she couldn't do anything.

"I don't think that'd be so good for Porthos," Hurley said, smiling. "Then again, my old dog Buster once ate a whole bunch of nickels and he turned out okay."

"She is extremely foolish," Raven agreed. "I suspect that she is going to sleep with the boy with the drugs soon. That will be a huge mistake." She was an expert at making that kind of huge mistake with a boy.

"Yours was definitely worse," said Hoshi. "My alternate self had to deal with a wicked hangover and an over-protective dog, so I didn't get into any sort of trouble this time."

Hurley was, thankfully, not a dick and relented. He just nodded and would wait. He did hold the box out in Raven's direction, though.

Raven absently took one, now well-acquainted with junk food thanks to Andy. She ate it almost without thinking, staring at the TV. "Oh, it is not wise of him to upset his girlfriend," she said, frowning. "But I am certain she will forgive him."
