3rd Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

Bobby was looking rather insufferably pleased with himself as he made his way into the common room. Part of said insufferableness was almost certainly due to the large stack of pizzas and bag of half-price Easter candy he was carrying in with him. As for the other part? Well. He'd been busy that afternoon, let's just say that much.

Sookie was in a mild state of depression when she made her way into the common room.

Granted, there was candy, so that made it better. And pizza. Now she no longer felt guilty about not making some kind of Easter dinner.

And a Bobby, which was always a good thing. "I didn't even think the pizza place would be open on Easter." Oh, Sookie. Such a small-town girl.

"I'm pretty sure even the creepy fog didn't stop the pizza place guys from opening," Bobby admitted. "They're very dedicated. To pizza."

"So noble," Sookie noted, grabbing a slice of pizza. "You're very enterprising, to go get Easter candy today right when it goes on sale."

"I don't think anyone's ever called that particular habit of mine 'enterprising' before," Bobby mused. "I like it."

A boring night on his floor meant he had to go down a floor to find people. And, upon finding little Bobby (well, he was in comparison), Hannibal just had to snag the gum wrapper out of his pocket and fling it maturely at Bobby's head.

It was totally a greeting.

"It was on my Word of the Day calendar a couple days ago," she told him proudly. "It means that you're resourceful!"

As was the tiny foil-wrapped bunny that Bobby tossed at Hannibal in retaliation.

They had a very special method of communicating, these two.

"It totally sounds better than 'sugar-crazed', that's for sure," Bobby said with a nod.

"You throw like a girl," Hannibal said, finding a seat and taking it. "Should work on that."

"Dude, have you met like most of the girls in this school?" Bobby said. "That's not really an insult, all things considered."

"Most things do," Sookie said wisely, taking a Cadbury Egg, too. "Why don't Cadbury Eggs exist any other time of the year? They're like little nuggets of joy."

"Fine, you throw like a girly girl," he amended, snickering. "Feel more insulted?"

"I think I've seen them at Christmas," Bobby admitted. "Only they're called 'Ornaments' then." To be fair, those had only started appearing a few years ago, though.

"Fortunately, I have candy here to assuage my wounded pride," Bobby pouted exaggeratedly at Hannibal. "So there."

"Are you gonna share?" Hannibal asked. "I can pout too, if I have to."

"They should show up year-round! I can't have them at my birthday, and that's sad," Sookie noted.

"With someone who insulted me so horribly?" Bobby asked incredulously. He'd totally share. Eventually.

"Oh, don't be a pansy," Hannibal said, tossing another balled up scrap of paper at Bobby. "Take your insult like a man."

"Not unless you hoarded them," Bobby mused. "...I've tried that, though, and the stuff in the middle just gets all weird and hard."

"So a minute ago I was a girly-girl and now I'm a man?" Bobby asked, making a face as the paper hit him in the forehead.

"I can keep thinking of you as a girly girl if that would help?" Hannibal offered ever so politely.

"Also, my birthday's in July, so they might melt," Sookie replied distressedly.

Bobby just gave Sookie a look. "Yeah, cause you don't know anyone who'd be able to fix that problem."

Bobby stuck his tongue out at Hannibal and tossed a Caramilk egg at him. "How about not?"
