First Floor Lobby - Throughout the Day

It was that time again.  Time for dance tickets to be sold.  And therefore there was a George Cooper hanging out in the lobby with a table full of tickets, a box for Prom King and Queen voting, and lots and lots of masks.  Also beads.  George wasn't sure why beads, but then he hadn't been sure why lemurs either so...

There's also a big decorated posterboard taped to the wall over the table reading:

Prom 2010:  Paper Faces on Parade
Masquerade!
Juniors and Seniors, Come One, Come All, Come Dressed Up!

 


[OOC:  Wow, Fail me on the timing.  Juniors and Seniors or dates of upperclassmen are invited to Prom.  It's a Masquerade ball so masks are totally the fashion accessory of the night.]

Kyle had had a rough week. He needed a burger and a big chocolate milkshake and the company of his friends. Normally that would take place at Luke's, but with George having student council duties, they were in the lobby instead. "We brought food," Kyle declared, setting down a burger and milkshake for George.

"Actually, that's totally something I'd do," Bobby admitted. "...Or, okay, I'd pretend not to have enough to share at first. But I totally eventually would. At least, with people here." Back home all bets were off.

"Yeah, see, we didn't bring you food because we wanted to share, only we didn't want to go without ourselves." Liar. "Are you going to this thing?" he asked, pointing to the prom stuff.

"Same," George agreed. "An' Karla's a freshman too so won't be happenin'. Jus' juniors and seniors are allowed to go." He shrugged. "Apparently th'lasses are s'pposed to slut it up."

He'd be talking to Dean Stinson again.

That pretty much just made him look like a complete dork. Not that that was all that different from how he usually looked.

George grinned at the suggestion. "'M all for it. Anyone got anyone who deserves it?" He pondered for a moment. "I'd be suggestin' th' Prom itself but 'm not sure what we could do."

"I can think of half a dozen seniors who might cause serious injuries if we messed with their big dance thing. But," he added with a grin, "that does mean everyone's going to be busy and not looking at the rest of the school."

"Precisely," Bobby smirked. "Letting an opportunity like that just go by would practically be a crime."

...Technically speaking, any sort of prank that involved breaking and entering or vandalism would actually be a crime, but whatever.
