The Salle [afternoon]

Ben had noticed an influx of children as he made his usual rounds of exercise-coffee-ice cream shop this morning, but so far none had approached him.

Which was totally not why he was hiding in the salle this afternoon.

He figured if they were his hypothetical children, or any of his relatives, a little lightsaber practice wouldn't keep them away.

And he needed the practice.

So he put a sign on the door warning of live fire and began practicing with a series of remotes.

[OOC: Because I was tired of room posts. Open, especially for Skywalker spawn!]

"I like the beach!" Jaina said happily. See what being part Bass had done to the Skywalker genes? She liked sand.

"Only sometimes," Jaina said. "He doesn't like the sand. He says it's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere. But Dad takes me to the beach in the Hamptons. I like to build sandcastles."

"Uh huh!" Jaina said. "I like the Force! Dad takes me to business meetings so I can use Jedi mind tricks on people. But don't tell Mom or Grandpa."

"I'm not hurting anybody," Jaina pouted. "And I got a pony!"

"He'd get maaaaaaaad," Jaina sighed. "But Dad says it's ok!"

Jaina stuck out her lower lip. "I won't do it again," she said. "Just don't tell on me, please?"

Jaina beamed. "I don't want another lecture," she said. "Grandpa's not fun when he's all cranky."
