The Deck, Sunday Morning
After spending a full day keeping Rhys busy (and running him through his swordcraft training, and dealing with his still-abominable tracking skills, which had also ended in a lesson, god help him) getting fifteen minutes to himself while the boy entertained himself elsewhere seemed like the greatest kind of luxury.
Not to say he wouldn't check on Rhys soon enough again, because Arthur was nothing if not dedicated. Right now, though, he would collapse in this seat on the deck with a glass of water and a small plate of cheeses and bless the silence.
Rhys could be out here any minute again. He was somewhat faster with his food as a result.
[[ open to all, including kidlets, woo ]]

He didn't feel like exploring much before he'd had breakfast, though, and he knew where his mom kept her food in the common room. This meant that he had a Pop Tart, two vanilla pudding cups, and a spoon when he showed up on the deck.
"Cheese and water?" he wondered aloud, eyeing Arthur. "Weird."

What?
Arthur squinted down at the boy and, in a vast display of maturity, said, "Please. You're not even supposed to be here. You're weird."

Upon spotting someone nearby, he changed paths and climbed up the deck, waving excitedly at Arthur. "Hi hi!"

He was going to make damn sure that he didn't have anyone else running around the island.

Yes. He really thought that way.
He didn't say anything, though. Busy eating pudding. The breakfast of ninja samurai champions!

"Bonjour!" she greeted the first person she spotted. Which happened to be Arthur. Lucky Arthur!
no subject
"Bonjour," he echoed at the child, lifting an eyebrow. At least French, he could do.

"I'm hungry," she announced in a slightly slurred way of speaking, then looked at Arthur. Clearly he should be fixing that for her, and immediately.

She had however forgotten to bring food, so when she saw a man with a plate of cheese she approached him.
"Good morning. Would you be kind enough to share some of your food? I'm on an adventure and I mustn't starve to death before I get back."

So Sin was out and about, and paused when she saw the gentleman with the cheese and water. A careful evaluating look, and staying out of range. Even though everyone here seemed to be very safe. "Good morning." To be polite.

At this point, Arthur was starting to think of tactics to avoid further children. He'd like to get back to his own, thanks, who at least displayed some sanity.
Although the one who'd dubbed knights 'cool' could still stay, yes.

"DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!" Morgana howled, tearing as fast as her short legs could carry her across the deck.
Katchoo, who had run into her while sneaking out of the dorms so as to not smoke around Lily, shrugged at Arthur from the distance of her more leisurely pace.

He shot Katchoo a glance as Morgana came barreling at him. Traitor, it read.

Point being, some people got Hello, how are you? and some people got an approaching brown-haired windmill, "Uncle Aaaaarthur!" then a momentary swarm of limbs and a lap full of small girl, big ears, and stuffed owl.
