Fourth Floor Common Room [late afternoon]

Noah had found himself some cookies. Much in the way that he'd 'found' candy yesterday, he'd sort of just wandered into a store and then walked out with them, and no one had told the little four year-old not to take stuff from other people. 'Mine' was still a relative concept.

In any case, he'd taken them to one of the big rooms for sharing, because he was good at sharing when it meant getting something from the other person, and since he couldn't make the TV be not boring stuff, he decided he'd have to come up with something else to do:

He began to jump up and down on the couch, shrieking. Being loud was fun, and jumping was the best. So yeah, this was where he'd be for awhile. At least until someone helped him make the TV be fun.

This weekend had put Alex in a pretty decent mood. He actually didn't mind kids (especially when they weren't his) so he found himself wandering along, trying to see if he could find anyone else he knew.

Now, finding the kid with the mohawk could have been good or nothing at all depending on which mohawked kid this was. Only one way to find out.

"You high on something, kid?" he asked from the door. So, he'd immediately gone to drugs. Whatever, not like the kid would know that.

"I'm high up!" Noah giggled, bouncing up high.

"Yeah, I can see that," Alex said, wandering in. "You eat too much sugar this morning? Take a hit off Pixie Sticks?"

"You're really loud," Kennedy informed him from the doorway, arms crossed over her chest and glaring. The jumping looked like fun, but she had to make her disapproval known first.

"Yeah yeah come play!" Noah yelled, bouncing and flinging himself down onto the couch to peek at her. "S'fun!"

Joolushko liked shrieking. She'd shrieked a lot yesterday. Not very much yet today though. But she hadn't melted anything. Probably. That she knew of. So when she heard lots of noise coming from down the hall she had to go investigate it.

When she found a small boy jumping up and down and making all the noise the wee alien girl just couldn't help herself. She let out her own happy shriek and ran for the couch.

"I want to play too!"

"Jump jump jump!" Noah instructed, as four year-olds were wont to do, happy to share his strategy for fun.

"Are you supposed to be doing that?" Morgana asked from the doorway. She wasn't allowed to jump on anything at home, so it seemed fair to assume no one was allowed.

"I 'unno!" Noah yelled happily, waving at her. "Come play!"

Jake had spent most of yesterday just reveling (not that he knew what reveling was) in the fact that he was somewhere by himself without stupid Kathleen and even stupider Christian being bossy older siblings at him.

Buuuut now he was bored and wandering around town and oooh big big castle and someone was jumping on the couch.

"Ahhhhh!" he yelled, rather literally tumbling in to the room. Yes, apparently the unnecessary barrel rolls were present from an early age.

"Ahhhhh!" Noah shrieked back. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

He just liked yelling.

"Eeeeeee!" Joolushko answered. Shrieking was just fun.

"You're jumping really high!" Didi observed from the doorway, sounding rather gleeful about the entire endeavor.

"I know! I'm the best at jumping," Noah told her, bouncing around. "Come play!"

Ben stood by the door with a little frown on his face and both hands over his ears.

"Loud," he complained. Quietly.

"Hi!" Noah screamed at the newcomer. "Come play come play!"

"You can be loud with us!" Joolushko pointed out. Loudly.

Dru followed the noise down the hall and stopped in the doorway, staring with wide eyes.

"Hi!" Noah yelled. "Come jump with us!"

"Loud," Ben said quietly, looking unhappy.

Ellie was wandering around and very very bored. When she heard all the commotion, though, she figured there was something fun going on.

"Hi hi hi!" she announced, bouncing into the room.

"Hi hi hi!" Noah answered, bouncing for each 'hi.' "Hi Ellie! Come play! I got cookies!"

K-Mart was four years old and as such easily bored.

So of COURSE bouncing seemed like a good idea.

She claimed a comfy chair as her own to bounce on.
