Fifth Floor Common Room - Monday Evening

Tim had blown up a papaya, defended the cafeteria from redecorating Vikings and had generally had a pretty interesting day, not even considering who his P.E. teacher was. He just wanted to relax for a bit without worrying about the space-time continuum, so he microwaved a meal he'd found in the freezer and turned the TV on to a NASA special on Discovery Channel.

Claire was actually looking for Tim when she headed up to the fifth floor so she was happy to see him in the common room.

"So, you haven't been scared off yet," she joked as she came in the room and headed to the fridge for a soda. "That's a good sign."

"I don't scare easily," Tim said. He poked at his TV dinner. "Are these things supposed to taste like soggy plastic?"

"Um. I'm not sure," Claire said. "I don't usually eat them."

She walked over and peered down at the meal. "What's it supposed to be?"

Hayley wandered into the common room and leaned over the couch to take a better look at the TV.

"Space stuff? Booooooring."

"You don't have to watch it," Tim pointed out.

"So hand me the remote," Hayley said, grinning mischievously. She even help out her hand expectantly.

"It's blackness. I can get that if I shut the lights off," Hayley said, sticking her tongue out oh-so-maturely.

"Oh cool, which planet is NASA taking over this time?" Diana asked, wandering into the common room. Samuel was padding after her.

"It's about the Apollo missions," Tim said. "No planets, just the moon. Hi, I'm Tim."

"All of them, or a specific one?" Diana asked, plopping down on a couch. Samuel jumped up on the table. "Meow?"

"Oh, I'm Diana. That's Samuel."

Leda had spent much of the day hiding. But finally the need to not be in her room became too much to resist.

"I picked a hell of a time to quit drinking." she sighed, going for the coffee.

"Bad day?" Tim asked.

"Anyone warn you about Gremlins yet?" She was guessing he was new, as she didn't recognize him.

An Alice that hadn't had classes yet was a bored Alice. Okay, almost any Alice was a bored Alice.

But this one was wandering into the common room. The common room that wasn't her own. What? It was Fandom tradition, practically.

She flopped down on a couch and looked at the TV. "Hm."

"You going to criticize my TV habits, too?" Tim smiled.

"Hello," Raven greeted the girl she did not recognize and had absolutely no idea was a vampire or she'd be freaking the hell out now. "You must be a new student, or else I have somehow never met you before."

After hanging out at Luke's, Bobby made his way back to the dorms but not with the intention of going back to his room. Nope, he was just gonna poke his head into common rooms until he found one with people in it.

"Oh my god this is so much better than orange people from New Jersey," he said, flopping on to the couch.

Returning from Chuck's room to her own, Raven passed through the common room. She paused to smile at the people she recognized and those she didn't, though it was somewhat forced. "Hello," she said politely.

Tim noticed Raven and carefully buried his emotions before he said, "Hi. How's it going?"
