Main Campfire [Thursday, Early Afternoon]
Chuck wasn't much of an 'outdoors' sort of guy, and summer and cabins and being in the middle of a wood was reminding him of exactly why.
Allergies.
Normally, he'd hide himself away in the dorms away from the pollen, but today that wasn't really an option, and the cabins really did nothing for that side of things so for once, he might as well be out in it. With marshmallows for... lets call it a post-lunch snack. Look, the only thing that could make his sniffing and itching eyes better was sugar, and lots of it.
Of course, it helped when you weren't like Chuck, who tried to pick the marshmallow off the stick, found it was hotter then he'd imagined and ended up dropping his sugary goodness into the fire.
It was going to be one of those days. Clearly.

"Yeah I uh, think they got mine mixed up with someone else's." There was no way he was purposely created so klutzy. "I'd ask for replacements, but..."

She made the segue work. It was that whole businesslike demeanour.

"No, I guess no--" Wait. "I did the shirt thing at the picnic!" It was part naked! "I'm not generally a hang around naked... sort of guy." Maybe if he was all built he would be, but he really wasn't.

"... I mean, you know, not that there's anything wrong with that," he added quickly.

She finally bit down on a marshmellow.

"Why?" he blurted, before thinking about how he didn't want to know. "... Never mind."

"Right." He should give up on the use of flame here. "You know, I don't think I got your name," he said, just offering her the bag.

"So... you don't like it, or what?" The only reason he could see why she'd be so withholdy. "I think it's nice!"

--when she realised what he just said. And blinked. "...Did you just say you liked my name?"

... Unless he'd misunderstood that and she was telling him he was girly for saying it. Chuck kind of hoped not. Even if it might've been a bit true.

Propositioning guys at random? Comfortable.
People telling her her name was pretty? Girly. Gay. Weird. "...Weirdo."
She shifted sideways, taking the marshmallows with her.
