Jujube Campfire; Sunday Afternoon [ 07/18 ].

Alexander had to admit; he found this cabin thing quite intriguing. In his mind, it was sort of like the school wanted them to experience a variety of different living arrangements and he couldn't help feeling both excited and a little nervous about this one. For though he spent his youth in poverty, it had been in a tower, and then he'd lived his life in a castle, and so a cabin was very quaint and interesting. And to think, sharing it with seven other people! He wasn't sure if he knew any of them yet, but he was sure he'd get to know them.

Right now, though, he felt it was best to try to get the whole rustic feel of everything and enjoy the fresh air. He felt he was taking a risk wearing just his shirtsleeves out, but it was rather hot and it seemed to better suit the situation. Much more comfortable, too, and he'd brought out a book with him, one on Ireland, to crack open and scan through. Nothing had lead him to believe it had anything to do with the Land of the Green Isles yet except its nickname of the Emerald Isle, but maybe he was missing something? He wouldn't know if he didn't check.

[[ open campfire is open! I'm more than halfway through my 11.5 hour workday today, huzzah! ]]

Delirium wandered to the campfire, her usual colorfulness somehow dull, yet not gone. She had decided to have a calm day. People didn't do much on Sundays anyway. So when she found someone else, Del decided to simply sit nearby and zone out as she looked at the ground, locks of mismatched hair falling around her in calm tones of green and blue, although the red and yellow were also there. Room for everyone, that was her policy.

Del came back from whatever weird imagination trip she had been, and looked up at the man. "Juju-um, Juvuve-Vujeju...that one?" Laser Besr had been an easier name to remember, really. At the end Delirium just nodded in agreement. She hadn't got there just yet, her walking more focused on...walkig, reallly; that didn't stop the girl from giving the man a big smile though. "I don't, um, know youyet. I'm Delirium." And her parents, if she ever had had ones, were most definitely not hippies.

"Jujube!" Just what kind of awesome name it was? For Del, it tasted like watermelons and chili with a double cover of chocolate and pineapple so bless this is just narrative Alex, but maybe she was wrong.

"It's supposed to, um, define me. Since I am Delirium." The number of people questioning her name had dropped, but she could still find some that didn't know just why the little crazy girl was called like that. Newbies.
