Gobstopper Campfire - Friday Night

Food. Food and drink and a small fire and a raccoon named Marcus. Okay, so the raccoon had taken the offered food and run away to eat in peace, but there was still food and drink. Kyle was more than content to have a quiet night around the fire. Yeah. That was gonna happen.

[OOC: Expecting a dragon, but open as well!]

Any expectations of a quiet night would be unlikley to last past Toothless' arrival. Having spotted Kyle, someone he knew and, as far as it went, trusted to help, he came bounding out of the woods.

Without Hiccup he couldn't fly, but his wings gave him one heck of a bound, and he touched down neatly in front of Kyle, backwinging to keep his balance.

Looking completely unconcerned at the effect his arrival had had, he stretched out his neck and carefully set the plastic Hiccup at Kyle's feet, and sat back, looking from Kyle to Hiccup and back to Kyle, eyes wide and hopeful. He added a quiet, inquiring rumble for good measure and tilted his ears.

Toothless made a quick, sharp noise, which was the dragon equivalent of yes, then lowered his head, pointing his nose at the hand holding Hiccup with an obvious air of 'fix it!'.

The answering huff from Toothless was most dissatisfied and he danced his feet impatiently, tilting his head as he stared at Kyle, clearly asking if Kyle was sure there was nothing he could do?

Toothless grumbled, whole body slumping as he accepted what Kyle was saying, then he flopped down to lie at Kyle's feet, wings and tail carefully tucked out of the way. Clearly, where Hiccup went Toothless would follow, at least as far as he was able. His ears perked up a bit at the mention of food, however, and he eyed Kyle right back.

With a quiet rumble, Toothless settled his head on the log next to Kyle and half-closed his eyes. He wasn't currently hungry, he was satisfied his person was safe, and he was confident food would be provided, or at least help to catch it (he was sure those green deer would be oh-so-tasty), so he was content to relax.

Dragons weren't big on introspection or worrying about the future once immediate worries were taken care of.
