Toffee Campfire, Friday Early Evening
The sun wasn't quite down yet, no, but Jono had gone through the pains of lighting a campfire (the good old-fashioned way, yes) and had made himself comfortable not too far off.
There was something about watching a fire with a smile on his face that he could totally get used to, he decided.
Well, that and S'mores. He could totally get used to S'mores, too.
You better believe that he was enjoying himself this evening, roasting marshmallows and singing. Loudly. He didn't even need to pull out his guitars for that!
[Open campfire yay!]

And Jonothon's marshmallow had lit on fire while he was busy gaping anyhow. He sighed, giving Ariel a wry smile before scraping the burning mess against a log, and then making a reach for the stack of sugary things.
"I hope you don't want me to eat this all in one go, luv."

He had his mouth out! He should put it to good use!

He was nice like that. And, apparently, he was about to find out just how big his mouth was. Getting it in wasn't the problem. The whole mess of it kind of melted bit by bit if he sucked on it some. But chewing was totally not going to happen, so he was going to take that moment to sit there, feeling absurdly like a chipmunk while he waited for the chocolate to melt some more.
Classy!

Drooling chocolate and marshmallow and trying not to laugh as well as he worked steadfastly on maybe, if he was lucky, perhaps just moving his jaw a bit?
It wasn't working out for him so much, no.

But swallowing was absolutely not going to happen, and Ariel's peek was ill-timed if she didn't want to catch sight of that very same glob of s'more hitting full reverse as Jono worked on spitting it out into the fire.

Well. He'd certainly spat out worse in his lifetime.
"Bit off a bit more than I could chew, there, luv."
