Toffee Campfire, Friday Early Evening

The sun wasn't quite down yet, no, but Jono had gone through the pains of lighting a campfire (the good old-fashioned way, yes) and had made himself comfortable not too far off.

There was something about watching a fire with a smile on his face that he could totally get used to, he decided.

Well, that and S'mores. He could totally get used to S'mores, too.

You better believe that he was enjoying himself this evening, roasting marshmallows and singing. Loudly. He didn't even need to pull out his guitars for that!

Kurt sighed. "Ja. I didn't get the image inducer until just RECENTLY. I grew up looking like this."

Jono nodded, frowning for a moment. He'd been... a bit of a late bloomer. Most mutants that he knew of tended to manifest their power before they turned seventeen. He'd been fortunate, so far as that went.

Somewhat.

"But you do have it now, for when you need it," he offered. "And here, it's safe."

"And for when I don't need it," Kurt mused with a smile twitching his face. "I wonder what I can do with it if I fiddle."

"If you run around looking like me, mate, and I end up in trouble for it, I swear I'll pick you up and shake you."

There was a smile on Jonothon's face, too. He was teasing, really.

He was entirely too slight of frame to actually pick anybody up. The shaking part of the threat still stood, though.
