Hannibal had been putting this off for months now. Considering he had just forty eight hours left on the island, it seemed that his time of hedging and procrastinating had come to an end. When he made bets, he filled them even if it took him time.

So, he'd move some of the furniture aside and out of the way all while wearing a thick bathrobe. Yes, he was wearing spandex pants under that bathrobe and no, he wasn't going to show that off until he absolutely had to. Kate was just lucky he hadn't tried to find a loophole.

There was a boombox nearby, queued up with the most ridiculous song known to man. In a few minutes, he'd have to click play and actually dance.

He was going to dance. In spandex. To a girly song. He hated his life and yet, he'd keep making bets. Stupid bowling game.

Oh look, Hannibal was back to looking queasy. "Yeah, this is what my bet got me. I think Kate's just got a mind for embarrassment. And she hustled me."

She hadn't. He'd just been too cocky.

"I'll make a point to get a photo of her being whomped by a pillow while wearing her girly nightclothes," Zack promised, laughing and shrugging a little. "With you in mind."

"That would be a HUGE prize," Hannibal decided, "since I don't think Kate's a huge girly girl in the first place. If you catch her acting like one, I'd be big time in your debt."

"I'll think of it like a personal mission," Zack decided, laughing. His shiny lip gloss was totally glimmering in the sunlight from the window. In a manly way. "I will not fail!"

Oh, he probably would. But it wouldn't be for lack of trying.

Hannibal started to laugh at the pronouncement and even more at how he looked while promising all this.

"I think you'd make a hot chick, Zack."

Zack was now running through a range of expressions that went from confused to pouty, and then onward into laughing territory, plunging ahead into smug and then just plan playfully flirty.

"Well," he decided, batting his eyelashes and trying not to just completely crack up in the process, "somebody's got to."

"Hey, I'd make a hot chick too!"

Then, he looked down at himself and winced.

"I'd make a hot chick if we forget this little moment ever happened."

And now, Zack was giving Hannibal a look that would go down in infamy as the most airheaded look that he had ever managed to give, ever, especially since it was aided along with such pretty makeup.

"Which little moment was that? All I remember is talking about pillow fights!"

That he'd missed out on. The humanity!

Hannibal grinned but wasn't about to remind Zack of the whole dancing in spandex like a spaz thing.

"I wonder if girls would try to crash guy parties if we had those."

"I don't know," Zack admitted, thoughtfully. "What would they crash it for? I guess some of the guys might bother to peel their shirts off before they pass out for the night, but after that, it's mostly just really gory movies and nacho chips. And gossip that they'd probably want to smack us for."

"I think some of 'em would try just to say they did," Hannibal replied thoughtfully. "Just to say they'd fooled the guys and got in and no one was none the wiser."

Personally, Hannibal didn't believe that was possible. "It's like they don't know guys have radars for girls. We'd know them in a heartbeat."

"They look cuter in our clothing than we do, for one," laughed Zack. "That would give them away in no time. And unless they were really new, odds are that somebody at the party would recognize them anyhow."

Everyone at the girl party last night would have known that he was a guy, yeah. But probably would have let it slide on the grounds that Zack actually went and shaved his legs for the occasion.

Oh, Zack was lucky Hannibal didn't know he'd shaved his legs. He would have teased him mercilessly.

"I wonder if there are any girls around here that would be that interested in seeing what goes on at guy parties," he said, considering it again. "I mean, it would be a good study aide for when the island inevitably turns girls into guys again."

"You figure when the island goes and does that, all of the girls in the school are going to get together and have a guy party?" Zack laughed a little. "You know, that's totally what needs to happen, next time. Everyone left looking like a girl can throw their own party, and all the guys at the time can throw theirs, and then everyone can compare notes at the end of the day."

For science!

"Yeah, but you know girls!" Well, he knew evil girls. "You don't think they'd make up some fake notes to try and get us to like run around in thongs or to do something else equally silly just because?"

Zack was now giving Hannibal a look that suggested that there would be totally nothing the matter with a bunch of girls running around in thongs, no matter what gender they had been the day before. Because honestly.

"That would be really pretty," he added, just on the odd chance that the look didn't say as much.

"You just wanna see girls in thongs," Hannibal said, grinning. "Just testing to make sure the makeup didn't mess up your mind."

Oh, Zack's mind was already all sorts of confused. He didn't mind seeing other guys wearing not much of anything at all, either. Except for Ifrit. Cloven-hoofed fire gods should definitely never consider banana hammocks to be a major wardrobe item. And yet.

"Well, can you blame me?"

"Not at all," he said and smiled widely. "I kinda like seeing that too. Looking but not touching is all perfectly fine. Think I could convince some of the girls to give me a going away present like that?"

"Probably..." Zack tapered off for a moment, there. Possibly even just to get Hannibal's hopes up, because it was more fun that way! "...not without getting yourself slapped."

"Yeah, that's what sucks about being a guy sometimes," he said and laughed. "They can go around, trying to get us to take off our shirts but if we ask, we're asses. Sucks! We're so maligned!"

They were not.
