Fourth Floor Common Room | Afternoon | Thursday | August 26
Hannibal had been putting this off for months now. Considering he had just forty eight hours left on the island, it seemed that his time of hedging and procrastinating had come to an end. When he made bets, he filled them even if it took him time.
So, he'd move some of the furniture aside and out of the way all while wearing a thick bathrobe. Yes, he was wearing spandex pants under that bathrobe and no, he wasn't going to show that off until he absolutely had to. Kate was just lucky he hadn't tried to find a loophole.
There was a boombox nearby, queued up with the most ridiculous song known to man. In a few minutes, he'd have to click play and actually dance.
He was going to dance. In spandex. To a girly song. He hated his life and yet, he'd keep making bets. Stupid bowling game.
[Oh god, this is so open. I'ma put up some OCD just for my benefit but this is SO open. Not Hannibal's last post in Fandom, btw!]

Re: After the Concert
Focus, Karla.
Re: After the Concert
"Isn't it? And it tastes like apples, too! I have a couple more like it, if you want!"
... They'd been cheaper as a packaged set. Please, try to withhold judgment.
Re: After the Concert
Never mind that it was Karla who had brought that up. "What happened last night?"
Re: After the Concert
"Well... I looked really silly."
Re: After the Concert
"Awwww," she said, leaning over to pat his had reassuringly. "We just missed you, is all. I even made everyone wait to start the pillow fight so you could join in."
Okay. Maybe a tiny match.
Re: After the Concert
"Really?" But if there was any expression at all that crossed his face now, it was totally apologetic. And effeminate. But that would wash off with soapy water. "Man, Karla... If I'd known that I was holding you guys up at all, I would have at least called."
To whine. About how the dress made him look all fluffy and how his hair looked really silly in ribbons and about how there was no way in heck that he was putting on mascara, because he'd already poked himself with the eyeliner pencil way too many times for comfort.
Re: After the Concert
And now she was going to give up her story about the ball-pit and the jello and the wrestling.
"You didn't, really," Karla placated. "I was teasing about that part. Though Ino may ask you what you were up to, since I asked if she'd seen you."
Karla would have spent that time commiserating with him about how much makeup sucked and weren't pointy shoes stupid and that was why Karla mostly just brushed her hair and sometimes put it back in a ponytail because doing more than that was just frustrating.
Re: After the Concert
His pretty, pretty face.
"At least this way, I have some time to get a dress that fits me right before the next slumber party?"
Why not? He totally already had the makeup!
Re: After the Concert
Karla laughed at that. "I suppose that's true," she acceded. "Though I'm afraid if you skip a second time, the slumber-party doors will be closed to you...forever."
Dun DUN DUUUUN!
Re: After the Concert
"Forever! That's a long time!" Obviously, Zack. "I guess next time, I'm going to have to get the nerve up and just go."
He'd totally get somebody to drag him there so that he didn't chicken out again.
Re: After the Concert
"You really are. Otherwise, you'll never understand all the goes on beyond the doors once the party begins," Karla said with a wink.
Re: After the Concert
The not knowing! Being so close, and letting it slip away!
Re: After the Concert
"And you know we'd have to just make the parties even better if that were the case," Karla replied regretfully. "We're just like that."
