Fourth Floor Common Room, Monday Night
George was bored. And so George went to one of those common rooms, picked up the remote, and began channel-surfing.
One station was re-running the movie Hint, and nothing else seemed to be on, so she was going to go with it.
She rummaged in the kitchen to find microwaveable popcorn and settled in for the movie. People could join her, if they felt like it. It was a common room and all.
(Very open!)

She was, in her own selfish way, trying to do him a favor. If he got hit by a flaming toilet seat tomorrow, he'd wish he had listened.
And if anyone had told her this shit while she was alive, she would have blown them off the same way.

That was Rinoa's job.

... shit. Fine.
"Because I did the same fucking thing and I'm sorry, now, and it's too late to change it, so don't fuck it up before it's too late for you, too. But you're not going to listen to me and I wouldn't have listened to anyone, anyway, so I don't know why I'm wasting my breath. There. Happy?"

He wasn't, really, but the more she insisted the more he'd resist.

Why did she care? He was some fucking guy. So what if he ruined his life, just like she'd ruined hers. What did it matter? Why was she still arguing the point?
It wasn't like convincing him could get her her life back.

At least, he'd pretend really really hard until he stopped regretting it. Because regret was pointless.

Well, nearly in silence.
"You're such an asshole."

"Whatever."
