Fifth Floor Common Room, Saturday morning
There were two things Bruce didn't expect to find when he started checking the cabinets in the common room kitchen for some breakfast. The first cabinet had some white greasepaint and black lipstick. Bruce would have been curious about that, but it didn't seem that strange for Fandom. The second cabinet had a gremlin which fell on Bruce when he opened the door.
The gremlin landed teeth-first on Bruce's shoulder, teaching Bruce a very important lesson about being better prepared for something like this happening when opening any door on the island. He thanked the gremlin by punching it in the face and hoping that whatever was about to happen wasn't too bad.
A couple minutes later, Bruce was a mime who was trapped in a box in front of the TV. Such was life.
[OOC: I've been meaning to hit Bruce with a gremlin bite all year. Today's as good a day as any to actually do it. Open!]

That would be when she saw...well, someone that surely couldn't be Bruce.
"...This is awkward."

Then there was a strong wind blowing him back! The mime leaned forward to try to walk forward through the wind, but it was clearly tough work.
The mime paused for a moment to wonder why the wind wasn't affecting the girl. She was probably wearing an invisible windbreaker or something.

She was going to carefully walk away, smiling a little.

Refreshing!

"Hey, tell me...somehow what were you doing before you were a mime." As long as he didn't say he was a clown or something...

He leaned against the door and kind of stared, waiting for Bruce to do something to explain what he looked like.

The mime started pulling Alex into the common room, straining against whatever resistance there was. With the imaginary lasso.

"Dude, what the hell?" he asked, trying not to laugh. "Is this some sort of weird flirting thing?"
no subject
He may have looked like a complete idiot, but that was what being a mime was all about.

She hadn't expected this, and stared for a moment, finally saying, "Um."

There wasn't a lot of mime in Glen St. Mary.

If adult Bruce Wayne ever took a hit out on him, at least he'd know why.

BUT WAIT! THERE! it was a crank that he could use to lift the ceiling up to its normal height. The mime walked over to it and started to crank it up. The ceiling started to push the mime down. Oops! Wrong way!
