Fifth Floor Common Room, Sunday Morning
It wouldn't be the first time Dolf surfed the TV channels in the common room; he'd gotten over the shock of being reintroduced to audiovisual stuff pretty quickly. It was the lack of familiarity of the channels that still threw him, at this point, and he was determined to do something about that.
It might be a case of a very small victory, but it was something, and kept him from feeling like he had to relearn everything.
Still, he had to admit he was very, very relieved to find that, given enough presses of the next channel button, Eurosport finally appeared. Sure, it wasn't football but the Vuelta, but it was still strangely comforting.

"I am glad to hear that you are rid of any curses," he remarked, more seriously now. "That doesn't sound like it would be a pleasant experience at all."

"That does sound very frustrating," he agreed. "Especially when something as pleasant as a kiss gets interrupted. I am glad that you have rid yourself of this curse."
Even if he wasn't certain if this curse was a real thing or something Ariel had made up to explain her misfortune.

But Ariel was a little distracted with a wistful sigh for a moment, because, yes, kissing certainly was something pleasant...
She shook her head slightly, bringing herself back to where she was. "Thank you," she said, bobbing her head in a nod. "I'm glad, too. I'll probably try to avoid curses if I can in the future."
Oh, sure, she says that now...

But, nose wrinkling in distaste, Ariel would avoid that topic if she could.
