Third Floor Common Room; Tuesday Evening [ 10/26 ].
Alexander certainly didn't think there would be a great deal of difference between this common room and the one on his previous floor, but that didn't stop him from checking it out a little. Finding nothing too noticeable, he grabbed something to eat from the fridge, a nice cup of tea as well, and then settled on the couch.
To pull out a notebook and a pen and get to writing a letter home. He could work on it in his room, but he felt like the change of pace, and maybe the chance to be social should he be interrupted.

"And thanks," she added, taking a slice and sticking it in the microwave. "I always appreciate a heads up about good leftovers. How have you been?"

"But I had a good time. Everything went smoothly. Piranhas didn't invade during the dance. I can't complain."
"How was Maladicta as a date?"

He decided to avoid mentioning that they were there just as much for magical spells as they were for sustenance.
He was getting much better at that sort of thing.
