Fifth Floor Common Room, Tuesday evening

Bruce could be out of his room without feeling the need to find a more private place with the first person he saw. It was a good feeling. A good enough feeling that Bruce was willing to actually risk messing with the television in the common room again. But first? Threats.

"If you act up on me, I will end you," Bruce whispered while kneeling in front of the set. "There's a window right there. I will throw you out of it. You will be destroyed. And then I'll buy a new TV for the floor. I can afford something that will make you look like you're a black and white set. Nobody will miss you. So behave, or you'll force me to prove that I'm serious."

Bruce settled into a seat on the sofa and turned on PBS. It worked just fine. "I'm glad we could come to this arrangement," Bruce said with a bit of a smirk.

Good job badgering the inanimate object into working, Bruce.

"It's had some sort of grudge against me for a couple months, changing channels randomly, staying on shows that I might find embarrassing. So I fixed it," Bruce said. "That's the only thing I've had to fix through threats, though."

That was odd...but then again, it was Fandom. "What did you do to the television first, I wonder? Or it was hatred at first sight? And good, because it wouldn't really end well if you go around scaring people."

"Why not? I'm sure I could use scaring people like that to my advantage somehow," Bruce joked. Well, half-joked. Okay, meant completely, but was passing off as a joke.

"Best interrogator ever?" The amused tone should be enough to let Bruce know Zatanna wasn't buying it, not entirely.

"You never know what kind of professions a person might fall into," Bruce said.

"Hm, crime fighter?" Because Zee had plans. "Would you do the vigilante gig? With a cape and everything?"

"I think I'll keep my community work to the Wayne Foundation," Bruce said. "Anyway, it's not like a cape would be at all practical."

"It would just keep getting in the way, I guess." Although she had seen the superheroes from back home, and they didn't seem to mind the cape. "And community work it's the best way of fight crime and stuff, because nobody gets hurt."

"Well, we are talking about Gotham, so I wouldn't be sure about that," Bruce said.

"...Point." Everything had to do with people getting hurt on Bruce's city. "At least...be cautious?"
