StuCo Holiday Decorating Party, Dorm Lobby, Sunday Midday

Whatever its oddities, Fandom knew how to celebrate something, Quinn thought with satisfaction as she looked over the boxes and parcels of holiday decporations that had been purchased or hauled out of storage. In addition to the large fir tree in one corner, there was popcorn to string, garlands of beads and other odd-shaped shiny things, a multiethnic army of decorative Santas, what looked like a few miles of twinkling lights in all colors, containers of artificial snow, and enough stockings to keep a small army of elves busy. There was also plenty of greenery -- mistletoe, holly, poinsettias and evergreen -- potted or kept in water to keep them alive and looking fresh.

It was time to deck the halls and get merry.

Snacks and decorating? Sign Ariel up! She was more than happy to throw in her hand and drape lots of tinsel and garland around (those were her favorite!).

And she certainly hoped no one minded if she lead the charage in singing a few carols while they were working.

(And she still had a Santa hat. Sure, they disappeared after Friday, but it was easy enough finding another! They were so cute!)

Kyle was one of the poor reps covered in tinsel. He had silver on his head, a belt of gold and bracelets of green and red. For the time being, he was content with watching and getting distracted by all of the activity, but he was ready to help out if anyone needed a hand.

Somehow, Jason had remembered that he'd volunteered to be here today. Unfortunately, he hadn't remembered before going to Caritas last night, so he wasn't exactly in a holiday spirit as he worked on detangling some of the lights.

Rilla was in a corner stringing popcorn and cranberries together, looking very pleased.

She just loved the holidays. If only the powdered sugar snow had been real. Christmas without snow was just so...gray.

Of course Alexander was here to offer his help, as well. Things were never exactly full of holiday cheer around Manannan's castle growing up, but the winter festivals were grand events at the castle in the kingdom of Daventry, and decorating had quickly become one of Alexander's favorite festivities. It was nice that he could continue that here, and was particularly fond of sorting out any holly and ivy.
