5th Floor Common Room, Saturday Afternoon
No more school for a few weeks could only mean one thing!
... Well, okay, for Zack it meant a few things. He had options, after all. He could take on some missions back home, but he was kind of iffy about that sort of thing after all of the excitement there last week. Or perhaps he could sneak back to at least take in the tree ceremony in Midgar, but even that kind of seemed like a bad idea right now. There were always things going on around here, though. Even if the relative peace and quiet seemed to be boring him out of his skull.
Clearly, on a Saturday morning with two weeks free from worry about classes, the best thing to do was to find himself a comfy place to sit, grab the remote control, and turn the TV to the most action-packed, violent show he could possibly find.
... Even if it meant that even the action movies were Christmas-themed right now.
[Open! Zack and I are totally in the same boat right now, sans mission trauma, so I'll be about all day being booored at you.]

Wait! What was he saying?
"Of course it does! It's a cookie!"
Much better!

... Carefully, because he was a good deal stronger than most boys his age, and he didn't want to accidentally stick his arm clear through and to the outside. They wanted cookies, not a draft.

He'd kept a hold of the ice cream container and now, held it out towards Zach in case he wanted to combine them.

"Victory!"
It was sheer force of will that kept him from twirling his spoon like a baton, and nothing more.

Zack Fair? Always willing to please!
"Big? Small? Thick? Thin? Should I take it from somewhere else, so that I'm not excavating my way all the way to the great outdoors?"
He was only asking a few questions, truly.

Clearly, the solution to this dilemma was to take two steps to the left before he started chiselling!
Brilliance!

Hey, didn't that sound awesome?

"It's pretty sturdy cookie," he agreed. "Which is probably for the best. If it was a gooey chocolate chip right out of the oven, the ceiling would be sagging down on our heads right now, I bet."
It was kind of crazy how, after this long at Fandom High, saying things like that managed to almost seem normal.

"I think I want the island to throw more quirks like this at us more often, he said and then finished the cookie quickly.

That was how it was supposed to be eaten, right?
"I still don't really know anything about Christmas, but if this kind of cookie is a part of it, then this world is totally on the right track!"
Mmm, delicious wallcookie.

"All of Christmas should be this easy," he decided with an actual smile now.

"Well, where's the fun in being confused all of the time, right?" He tilted his head thoughtfully. "Though, I can't really think of anything too religious about reindeer and dancing snowmen..."
