Third Floor Common Room, Monday Evening

So Kate had taken off again, after sulking around their room for a bit. Bobby didn't know what was going on with her, and he hadn't been particularly inclined to ask, as wrapped up as he was in his own issues.

Raven's party and Christmas shopping had been a great distraction, but with both of those things taken care of he was just sort of... drifting. Eventually that drifting led him to the common room, where he flipped through channels until he found Kris Kringle Overthrows Pluto*, and then rummaged through the cupboards until he found a couple bags of Oreos. Maybe that would work as a distraction.

"...really?" Sookie asked, rolling her eyes to look at him. "Hitler? You think he'd be in favor of Santa, as a promoter of a Christian holiday."

"It was a whole lets-demoralize-the-Americans ploy, I think," Bobby told her. "Captain America rescued him."

"Says the girl who owns a house across the street from a vampire," Bobby said, poking her in the ribs teasingly. And okay, there were some woods and a graveyard technically between that road that separated them but "across the street and graveyard and woods from a vampire" was sort of a mouthful.

"Oh, psh, they're just vampires. I mean, you know a Norse god," Sookie replied easily, poking him right back.

Had known two of them, even, up until a few weeks ago... but he was just going to shove that thought down and Not Deal With It.

"Yeah, well. Werewolves." Bobby retorted.
