Third Floor Common Room, Monday Morning
Leia had somehow managed to not have any classes until Thursday, giving her a five day weekend, which was perfect to dealing with the Senate business and other news from home she had to work through. But she was taking a break at the moment to rummage for breakfast in the common room. Distractions, particularly if they were in the shape of cute boys who hadn't found their shirts yet, would be welcomed.
[Open as a common room is; you don't need to be shirtless. ;) Save me from the @#$%^*& flowers.]

Leia, don't traumatize the poor girl.

"Wait, so not everyone comes here against their will?" She had deduced as much, but hadn't really asked to anyone. "And, no shit, for a moment I thought Mars was a little bit greener than the last time I saw it. What bothers me is the whole 'people from other Earths' thing." The only way of knowing would involve trying to find the Shop...and that was the last thing she wanted to do.
"...Can someone leave the island? As in, right to the city nearby?" She just liked her bad ideas.

"You might want to find out a little more about Fandom before you shoot your mouth off about other worlds," she said coolly.

"I didn't even say a thing about said other worlds. I don't care about said other worlds, and I would certainly like to know if this is my own fucking world, or if I'm stuck in Fantasy Island, Crystal Meth edition, thank you very fucking much."
She was going to bite her apple again now.

Now she was almost hoping that the girl was going to be in her father's class. Pull attitude like that and she'd get eaten alive.

"I just want to know if something bad happens when you try to leave."

"Your fa- I don't want to know. But I can get out, that's something." She needed to get out and see just where she was.
"Uh...thanks?

"You're off the coast of Maryland, near Washington, DC," Leia said. Since Charlie knew what Earth was she figured she didn't have to add "United States, Earth," but on the other hand, she wasn't entirely convinced the girl was all there at the moment. "The island sometimes closes itself off, however, and it's even been known to move on occasion, but as far as I know you'll be able to walk right across the causeway to the mainland."
