Fourth Floor Common Room | Morning | Saturday | January 22
Being up before noon was a fucking lousy way to start the weekend but it couldn't be helped. He was up and, even more horrific, he was awake so there was no way faking sleep would turn into real sleep. Nathan barely knew what morning looked like and know he was turning into some morning person. Good fucking lord.
After showering and getting himself into some warm clothes, he'd shuffled down to the common room to try and find something to eat. Of course, the only uncooked thing he managed to find was an apple (pass) which meant he was going to have to try and cook something. Waffles seemed like the easiest thing so he'd dumped them on a plate and shoved them into the microwave.
"Now," he said to the microwave as he started to get the waffles cooking, "if you catch on fire, this is not my fault and I'm absolved of all guilt. So don't fucking catch on fire."
He wanted breakfast that wasn't burned to a crisp. Blackened waffles might be a delicacy somewhere but they were not going in his stomach.
[Common rooms are open things so open post!]

And this guy didn't feel like the most trustworthy sort she'd ever met.

"Sorry," she added as an afterthought.
She wasn't.
"Not as convincing as you imagine, I guess."

He chewed happily on a waffle, grinning at her the entire time. "You always make such extreme judgments of someone you've just met?"
no subject
"They don't ask, I just don't say it out loud."

"What's your judgment?"
no subject
"Virgin." And then he grinned. He figured it wasn't true but since they were making judgments and all, why not go for super extreme?

"You got me," she said after a moment, smirking. "Saving myself for that special someone, you know?"
And she called him a liar.

He was a huge liar.
no subject
"But it's sweet you find calling you out as a liar so... soul touching."

"But that doesn't mean you're getting a 'yes'. What sort of girl do you think I am?"

Including her. Most recently regarding the sex she apparently hadn't had.

"I like making people guess. Gives their imagination some exercise."

He smiled and slouched down a little further on the couch. "So, you're a dull girl. I'm learning more and more each minute. Fascinating."
no subject
"Want to try again?"

no subject
"How could I ever compare?"

Not that trading for waffles was an every day choice either, as far as she knew.
