Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday evening
Bruce wandered into the common room with an EMF meter, a book, and some Chinese food (enough to share). Yes, he was testing the hell out of the TV for potential ghost strangeness before he did anything else. After investigating for a couple minutes, he made his way over to the couch, confident that if his reading and dinner were interrupted by the television, it probably wasn't because of a ghost with a crush on him.
...Look, he didn't come up with that suggestion, but Rinoa had made it sound more plausible than Bruce would have expected. Okay? The thing to actually focus on was no ghost and free food.
[OOC: It's been a weird day. I don't know. Open, of course!]

She noted that Bruce appeared to be in the common room and the TV wasn't on some horrible show. That got a little smile out of her.
"Are you finally over your problems with the TV?" she asked.

It was an honest question.

She ate a lot of apples, really.

"Hi, Bruce! Anything to yell at the television about tonight?"

It was almost like seeing BRUCE giggle like that.

"Inter femoral!" she had to repeat it with a laugh.

Which, actually...now that she'd said it, Ariel quirked an eyebrow slightly. That would solve the problem of not wanting to go back to her room tonight....but no. Bad Ariel. BAD.

He was just going to let it hang in the air for the moment. Maybe Ariel would go farther with it. Maybe she wouldn't. He was curious.

It was for science.
And it was for fun, which she had vowed to make sure Bruce had as much of that as possible.
And maybe she could even get extra credit out of this somehow.
Okay, that last one was probably wishful thinking, but there really wasn't any downfalls. And so she smirked, looking Bruce over to see if he'd really go along with this. "We...could," she said. "I mean, unless you'd rather sit around and wait for the television to start giving you trouble."

Was that a little bit of a guideline there to make sure Ariel didn't read too much into this? Perhaps. Perhaps.

She, however, did not sound too dissuaded.
