The roof, Sunday evening

It hadn't been a good night, spending kemmer alone, and Sov still felt shaky and shivering. But it was over, and they longed for some fresh air. The roof seemed like a good place. They had brought a few oranges, an exotic fruit unknown on Gethen, that was quite tasty, even if peeling it meant your hands got covered in orange juice. Drawing a deep breath, they looked out over the edge of the roof.

[open roof, of course]

Triela was looking for some solitude, and the weather meant that no one should be on the roof.

But, as often happened in Fandom, that didn't really work out. When she spotted someone else up there, she almost turned and went back to her room, but that'd be a bit obvious. So she just stood for a couple of seconds, considering, before walking to the edge of the roof herself. Far enough away to not be a bother, but not so far as to be rude.

She hoped.

Triela glanced over and offered a polite nod. "Good evening."

A slim, leather gloved hand extended to take the offered fruit before Triela really thought about it. "Triela," she responded, as she turned the little sphere over in her hands thoughtfully.

Triela snorted softly at the compliment. "Thank you," she said. "Not many people notice." But they were nice gloves. And they fit perfectly.

The silence stretched out between them, but it didn't really make Triela uncomfortable. She was used to long silences.

Eventually, she broke it. "Something wrong?"

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-02-06 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh."

"Good."

Triela blinked, but other than that didn't react to the seeming non-sequiter.

"Yes. Though that is a somewhat complex question since I understand that there are quite a few different types." From different worlds and such.

More blinking. "Then what made you think of it?"

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-02-08 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
That kind of made sense. Well, the last bit. Not so much the first bit.

"Oh. Would you like me to explain it then?" She wasn't entirely sure how to react.

"A werewolf is a type of creature that transforms between human and wolf. There are all sorts of ways that that can work, but that's the basic idea."

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-02-08 08:34 pm (UTC)(link)
"Depends." Well, that was true, but...

"Traditionally they are feared, though. They're dangerous."

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-02-08 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
"Does that help?" Triela asked, not sure.

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-02-08 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Triela nodded.

"So... why did someone think you were one?" And why had he let them do so?

[identity profile] sorella-vecchia.livejournal.com 2011-02-08 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ah." Triela nodded. "That could explain the werewolf thing. In a lot of places, a werewolf changes during the full moon."

Triela smirked. "I don't have a reason to." So his secret was safe with her.

"Sure." Not a problem.
