A monkey was hugging Kyle. Kyle wasn't hugging the monkey back. He was, however, sitting at the table set up in the lobby to sell tickets to the Valentine's Day dance. There was a sign indicating that flowers were for sale for delivery on the big day.

He'd tried everything to get rid of the monkey short of killing it, and he wasn't going to do that in case it was someone he knew. Eventually, Kyle gave up and sat there as patiently as he could while the monkey rubbed its head against his arm as it hugged him.

It was going to be a long day!
