Third Floor Common Room, Thursday Night

Alex was bored and the best cure for boredom in her mind? Chocolate.

Which was why she was currently in the common room, baking chocolate chip cookies. She'd skipped a few steps by using pre-made cookie dough but it worked just as well. Two trays were all ready in the oven and Alex decided she was going to make another few batches. The more cookies available the better.

The only problem? She was running out of baking sheets.

[Open as can be. ... now I want cookies. D:]

Alexander was starting to feel that there were enough baked goods in this dormitory to give him a toothache by proxy. Still, his curiosity got the best of him as he wandered into the kichen.

"Would you like any help?" he offered, once he saw the sheer amount of cookie sheets Alex had gotten out.

"Well, I have at least two to add to the project," Alexander said with a smile. "What are we baking? Cookies?"

Hopefully not ones to turn people into cats.

"I might have to pass, myself," Alexander admitted. "I haven't much of a sweet tooth, myself, but I'm more than happy to assist. Cooking and baking is something I've done an awful lot in my life, and I actually enjoy it."

As far as Jason could tell, Valentine's Day made people want to bake cookies. First it had been Rilla, and now it was Alex, and he totally wasn't going to complain. "Whatever's being made, it smells good," he said.

"Awesome, thanks," Jason said, leaning against the counter to wait. "People should get cravings for chocolate more often. Especially if they know how to bake stuff, because then it saves me from having to try."

Bruce was making his way back from some training time in the Preserve when he smelled cookies. He wasn't used to that smell coming from this floor. Even stranger, it didn't smell like burning. Odd.

"Is someone baking?" Bruce asked, stepping into the room.

"I can probably have a couple," Bruce said. "Especially since it doesn't smell like it's burning. I'm not used to that around here."

The smell of baking... something or other... had caught Shira's attention as she came down the hall. So this would be a very curious brunette poking her head into the common room.

"Ooh, cookies!" she said when she caught sight of the cookies being put on the baking sheets.

"Are you trying to feed a small army or something?" Shira asked with a laugh as she made her way over to the counter. "Because you might have enough already."

Elle had a weakness for cookies. As well as every other thing she hadn't gotten to have much of while being stuck with the Company.

So when she smelled cookies, she was of course going to check it out.

"You better be planning on sharing those."

Elle was already trying to figure out how many Tupperware containers she could fill and take with her back to her room.

"That is a lot of dough," she agreed.

Alice wasn't in the common room paying attention to the baking.

No, she was in the common room reading a fashion magazine and cursing James for turning her in the first place. Damn it, she missed cookies. She missed eating in general, but oh the smell of baking anything was kind of heavenly.

"You are officially the best fake sibling ever," Alice said, looking up with a smile. "And okay, now I'm kind of wondering if such a cookie exists."

Really, with the types of students Fandom tended to have, she'd be surprised if there wasn't some kind of recipe somewhere in the library's depths.
