"The fun run is next week," Quinn said, once the sisters were gathered in the gym. "This week, we're going to do some warming up and relaxation. We're doing yoga." She personally thought yoga was for hippies, but her suggestion of cheer boot camp had not gone over well. Something about liability.

"Neither one of us is a yoga instructor," she added, "so we're working with a video."

Emma shared Quinn's private thought on hippies and yoga, but she'd add second-and-third trophy wives to the list of people who did yoga. They seemed to think it was some sort of magic that kept them from being the next ex-mrs.

"If anything hurts too much, don't push it," she advised, starting up the dvd and grabbing a yoga mat for herself. "I'm not walking anyone to the clinic."

Quinn started going through the warm-up sequence in the video. If she briefly got smaller, furrier, and floppier of ear as the cheerful German woman lead them through downward-facing dog ... that was probably a trick of the light. Right?

Before or after the yoga lesson.

Follow along with the video, change back and forth into different animals that have yoga positions, or just boggle at your sorority sisters.

Karla was happy trying out these exercises until she turned into a cobra. After that, she was just going to back off and watch her sisters instead.

Weeeeeeird.

Oooh, yoga! Yoga was definitely something that put the legs to use, so Ariel was very excited to give it a try, and she did it with gusto.

That was, until she got to the fish pose.

After that, she was too paranoid that someone might have seen that to continue.

"So, next week, we'll be doing a fun run-walk in town to raise money," Emma said, once they'd put away their gear. "Does anyone want to set up a table in the lobby to solicit donations?"

"Since it will be our Shamrock Event, we should probably wear green, and feel free to dress up as you like. It's about fun and being healthy and raising money for charity, so if you want to do costumes, feel free."

Once they're not animals.

If you asked Quinn, she had never been an animal. Her muscles had simply seized up in an unfortunate way during the workout a few times.

Jane's head tilted a little at the video. As a woman who had many time imitated the movements of monkeys, she still wasn't sure human bodies were intended to move in such ways. Not naturally anyway.

Then again, one could say the same for corsets.

Then again again, she didn't care much for those either.

But she wasn't about to be a spoilsport, and she gave it a try, only to find herself suddenly a camel. She spit, in a most unladylike way, and then moved out of it and found herself quite embarrassed.

"Oh, my goodness."

No world ending before I can go home and play DA2.
