Fighting Reserves: Outside the Dorms, After Classes (Tuesday Afternoon)

The reserve met in the usual place today, but there weren't the usual amount of pastries and coffee. Which could only bode well for the people who came. Really.

"After this past weekend, we thought it might be a good idea to look into hiding places on the island," Maladicta said, possibly smug that she hadn't had any family members show up to embarrass her. "In case of an invasion, of course."

No other reason. Really. Nope.

"Not," Kennedy put in with a tiny bit of a smirk, "the kind that involves relatives. Just getting that out there. And it's warming up enough that you guys should be able to go wander around, check out the island, come up with a few places, 'cause it's been a while since we did that anyway."

Everyone who had a guest just had to hate them right about now. "So," Maladicta said with a toothy grin. "Go out to find a place to either find a hidden invader or to stay safe just in case."

Cally had nothing to bitch about besides the absences she had decided to shove in a box for her own sanity; if she worked at it, she might pull up a groan about the grey, cool weather, but instead, she simply availed herself of some warm coffee.

Weather notwithstanding, Cally had an urge to head beachward, so a bit of walking found her poking around one of the sea caves out on Galactica Point. Wet, certainly, but still a useful place to hide.

Pssh. People had been thinking about punching Kennedy in the face all the time for years, anyway. Like that was anything new.

She had her coffee and a chocolate croissant and a spot against the wall, idly surveying the group and the grounds in general.
