Third Floor Common Room; Sunday Evening [ 03/27 ].
Alexander wasn't doing anything particularly interesting tonight; he had just decided that he should at least do nothing particularly interesting in the common room rather than his own room, in the hopes that, perhaps, it could become something interesting.
He considered the television, but, overall, just settled on the couch with a book instead. Far more engaging and, perhaps, when he was ready for a break, he might hit up the kitchette for a little bit of culinary action. For some strange reason, it was making him crave a fried sandwich to dip in some sort of fruit jam...
How strange.

She let that speak for itself.

"Well, it, uh, er, is a bit common," he said. "In...er, some places."

She shrugged. "But so far the book does no mention green at any point."

She'd not gotten that far in the movie or book, yet, to know otherwise.

Like he was rather certain particular wizards who killed young slaves might have done...

She sighed. "I've probably just been letting it get to me for no reason at all."

That... explained a few things, honestly.

And, really, the similarities between Lolette and Elphaba's Wicked Witch of the West were...uncanny.
"Though the queen of spring has green skin, I hear," he threw in helpfully. "I have not met her, though my parents do tell tales of her beauty."

Alexander had to entertain himself somehow during Glee Club.
"But I suppose the point it fairly moot. There are all sorts of people in the world, or worlds, and just because something becomes common place or expected is no reason why it should be so..."

Really, it had to be asked.

"Perhaps she figured they could be useful?" Alexander eventually offered. "They would probably be more useful to her than to the dead witch."
He coughed, clearing his throat.
