Yes, there were snacks, and there was even pizza and (for no apparent reason) tiramisu. Because tiramisu was just something you had after a thoroughly confusing weekend. Ask anyone. It was part of proper etiquette.

Given the A/V setup at the front of the room today, though, did you really need an explanation for the popcorn?

"So I guess everyone has weird weekend... lingery... weirdness or something," began Kennedy, who still looked confused about that whole deal. "So it's kind of a kickback day. Like, a movie kickback kind of day."

It was what happened in Fandom, Kennedy. Just go with it. "Chronological Jacuzzi Invention is the movie for the day. It was what we found at the store, so we hope it won't put you to sleep," Maladicta added. "So, relax and enjoy the random tiramisu."

Really, Alexander, it was terribly unfair of you to think that every horrible film choice for the Reserves was mostly Maladicta's fault...

But could you blame him?

Either way, he was content with the tiramisu, no matter how boggling the film may have been. He wasn't even sure he knew what a jacuzzi was...

Cally had made it through class well enough with the distractions of the museum simulation, but here in the dark with time to relax, thinking about how she had just... disappeared for the weekend, when other people were having time-travel adventures similar to the ones onscreen if not quite as ridiculous... was anything but relaxing.

At least there was sticky layered dessert?

If asked, Kennedy would insist the movie hadn't been her idea. Hell, she didn't even know why the clerk at the store thought it was so funny.

She wasn't really paying attention to the movie, and poked at her phone the whole time instead like it would give up some kind of news from Constance, but no, the ongoing trend of radio silence went on its merry little way.

No news could be good news... right?
