3rd Floor Common Room [Wednesday, Around Midday]

Chuck was probably one of a few people who wasn't still recovering from his weekend.

It'd been average and quiet for him. He hadn't been an older, and while he'd noticed a slight increase in the average age, it hadn't really bothered him, or occurred to him at the time that it might be something funky. One of the joys of being completely oblivious sometimes, obviously.

Without anything better to do, he'd had a decent lie-in this morning, rolled out of bed around noon and took himself into the common room to make breakfast... Lunch. Waffles. Which he'd so far managed not to burn or get all over the kitchen.

So long as it turned out edible, this was not an unsuccessful way to kick off his day of nothing.

[[I am bored, and this is open with the hope LJ holds out.]]

Alex was grateful that the oddness of the weekend had skipped over her. She could deal with turning into a kid but she wasn't in a rush to grow up just yet, thank you very much.

Wednesdays meant no classes for Alex. Instead of spending the day in her room, she wandered into the common room and see if people were around. "Do I smell waffles?" Score!

"I'm not really experienced in making waffles myself but I'm sure it can't be that hard," Alex replied. "Worth trying, right?"

"Sugar and chocolate get mine," Alex said. Hey, anything with chocolate was good in her book. Chocolate alone, was good too.

"Pretty good. Been keeping busy with classes, the usual stuff. What about you?"

"Yeah, I have my lazy days," Alex nodded. "But, like you, I'm working on that." Especially since she didn't have too much more time left in Fandom.

She smiled, amused by the finger wiggle. "Strangely enough, my weekend was normal. Nothing odd happened at all. And that's definitely a first." Not that she was complaining, mind you. "Why do I get the feeling Fandom has something bigger in store for me?" Ale was only half joking with that comment.
