Fourth Floor Common Room; Saturday Morning [ 05/21 ].

While she knew that her own common room would be properly bright and colorful and cheerful, Rainbow Brite still hadn't quite made it out to the other ones to see how they were doing. The third floor looked fine, but when she got up to the fourth, she was sure glad she'd made the journey upstairs.

"Just look at this place!" she bemoaned, as she would to Sprite, who didn't seem to be there; probably out getting doughnuts for breakfast! "It's a good thing I brought my color sprinkles with me. I'd better get to work!"

With that, she dug into her little pouch on her magical rainbow belt and started scattering the bright stars around the room, making everything much more colorful and bright and cheerful.

"That's better!" Rainbow said proudly, as she went about turning the chairs green and yellow and red! "Spring is here; it's time for color!"

"...the caring meter," Hanson repeated.

The drug problem at this school went deeper than Fuller had thought.

He decided that he would leave out the part where he was talking to a sentient teddy bear.

Probably a good idea.

"That's right! You've got it!" Tenderheart was nothing if not enthusiastic. "Now how 'bout that hug?"

"What the hell. Sure."

This was definitely not going into the report.

"Yay!" Tenderheart wrapped his chubby, fluffy arms around the only thing he could reach -- just about the knees. "Isn't caring wonderful?"

"It's certainly something," Hanson agreed wryly. Penhall would never stop laughing if he heard about this.
