The Deck - Sunday afternoon
Momoko was determined to make up for all the hours she had spent indoors watching that AWESOME new sentai series, and the radio this morning had left her with no illusions that this was 'one of those weekends', which promised much entertainment. So she set up the sun umbrella to keep any rain off of her, and was sitting on the deck with a ton of snacks (and even some she was willing to share), a camera with a fresh memory card, a spare memory card, and a folder full of legal citations and arguments she'd pulled from the web.
Look, she was still worried about that judge getting away with stuff, okay? Maybe it wouldn't all be usable, but it was at least some ideas, right? She was trying to be a responsible legal... person. Sure she didn't have to be at work until Monday, but Justice didn't take days off!
...
Okay, so she also had a bag full of used manga beside her, too.
So when there wasn't someone visiting or being crazy within zoom range, Momoko was alternating between legal papers and a volume of Wan Pīsu... and hoping the pirates in this series got more interesting. And cute. Bleah.
(Open deck is open!)

"Hi," she said, book of Russian in hand. And gun on and prominently displayed.

That's reassuring, Scully. "Well, not waiting, exactly..."

"I think it is. It happens a lot, people become other people. I was three different people once. Usually it all sorts itself out when Monday comes around."
... "And if not, I'm totally going to start patrolling. No way I'm letting them have this island."

No, she just walked around with an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on her back.

Stealthily!

She looked out onto the island, curious and eager. The idea of toasted marshmallows was suddenly totally awesome!

She tried to frown as she turned around to try to find him, he was wasting food after all, but her grin was fairly evident.
no subject
But didn't answer.
Though he did toss another marshmallow at her.

"Hey!" was a girl gonna have to pout? "Are you trying to lure me into some weird trap?" Ooh, she hadn't thought of it, but maybe he wasn't himself...
She reached for her camera. "That is you, right, Jaime?"
no subject
And another marshmallow.
But still no answer.

She popped the marshmallow in her mouth and reached for the package of Oreos beside her. Whispering a small apology to the Nabisco people, she rips it open and flings a couple in Jaime's direction.
Please keep in mind, Jaime, she uses a YO-YO while flying. Throwing cookies in a straight line? Not gonna be much of a challenge.

He was just so angry at everything...not to mentioned worried that all hopes of turning back were lost because he could not find where the Rose may be.
He burst onto the deck with a snarl and a dramatic whipping of his cloak. "I demand to know what is going on here!" he shouted, as menacingly as he could, and, being quite a formidable beast with a lot of teeth, hopefully succeeded quite well.
no subject
Momoko jumped to her feet at the roar, her hand immediately going for her power compact... and losing the apple she was munching on and her page in the manga. Ugh. If this guy didn't look a lot like her Miyako's boyfriend, she'd be more annoyed than she was.
"Eh?!" She stared him down... From a distance. He was scary looking and sounding, but that totally didn't mean he was evil. Besides, he was probably a student. "What's going on, is that you're slamming doors and yelling and scaring people for no reason!"
no subject
Because more troublesome magic was just what he needed.
no subject
Momoko glared up (and up) at him. "Then ask politely! I'm totally not answering anything that's growled or snarled or bellowed or roared."
She slowly removed her compact from her belt, just in case. He may be a student on normal days, but he was totally going to be a bruised student today if he tried anything.
no subject
Oh, Adam. When would you learn that this is exactly the thinking that got you into this whole beast mess in the first place?
no subject
"You don't deserve anything, except a good thrashing. You're being completely disrespectful. Manners like that and you think I'm a commoner?"
