Boyz II Men Campfire [Wednesday evening]
There hadn't really been a reason for her to switch her hair this time -- not a tragedy, or a frantic need to outrun herself, like the last couple times. No, this time, Ramona just woke up, looked in the mirror, and decided she wanted to be pink if this new location was going to be so damn sunny. Blue had gone well with the rain, as had her leather and boots.
So now it was pink hair. And after sifting through her cabin's small fridge and her personal food stash to see what she had to work with, she was perched by her cabin's campfire, coaxing a tentative flame out of the kindling as considered the various different foods she could try to toast. Sure, there were marshmallows and hot dogs and that kind of thing, but Ramona was currently fixated on trying to spear a banana to see if singed bananas were as good as frozen ones. It seemed like a logical attempt, anyway, and she was bored.
Considering how damn hot it'd been, she was actually in a rare, simple t-shirt and shorts, too (though of course it was a band shirt), and it finally was feeling like summer. She could totally deal with this. And hopefully she'd get some company, too, since she was feeling up to talking to people and sharing her s'more things.
[open campfire is open!]

You wanted to know earlier, Ramona.

"Only certain aspects? Well, that's a fucking shame, man," Nathan said, sighing heavily. "This chick I met the other day in town said everything about me was memorable. I offered to show her and well..."
He shrugged and looked smug. That made it easier to cover up the lies.

She wanted to say that that chick from town sounded ugly and stupid but that probably would be a slightly transparent move.

"Yeah, you're picking and choosing like you're at a fucking buffet," Nathan decided, shaking his head. "She liked the whole entire package. She wanted an the main course and the desserts."

That was as much as he was getting. Though the fact that she was saying that to a marshmallow and that might have been a blush probably said something to its credibility.

Maybe he was missing the reason for the blush. Or maybe he was hoping she'd elaborate.

"No, no, no. I gotta get to the bottom of this blushing," he said, sounding delighted. "Why'd you blush, Ramona? Because the thought of my hands is enough to make you all hot and bothered or because you had to admit something personal?"

See, she got to feel his hands and he got to touch the evidence of the blush that was probably rapidly fading away now. He kind of wanted it to come back.
