Second Floor Common Room [Evening]

Ramona had flung herself onto a couch in the common room, in the interest of actually being social. Now, granted, while she had the television tuned to reruns of Rescued by the Alarm -- because who didn't love reliving the early nineties? Such large phones! -- she did have her nose buried in a book as she kept half an ear on the TV.

Look, the last Barry Plodder movie was coming out in a matter of like, a week, and while she wasn't a super-fan or anything, she had to try and remember exactly what happened when those kids weren't just walking around in the woods all the time. That was all they seemed to do for like, half that book. So she was refreshing herself on the events that took place in the latter half of the book, because she didn't want to be caught off-guard again like she had when she saw the last movie and that cute goblin thing had bit it.

[totally open, omg. I am totally watching SBtB right now, too.]

"I went out to get to the second floor common room," Butters said, puffing out his chest with his arms folded importantly over it. He looked around like a man claiming some great, newfound world, "and I got there! Not the third floor, or the forth floor, or the sixth floor, but the second!"

He gave a deep sigh of satisfaction. "Finally."

And, after a moment, he quickly added, "Yesterday didn't count, 'cause Stan and Jim were with me."

"Y-Yeah," said Butters; he was used to that tone, but the victory was too great. It easily overcame any sort of disappointment he might feel, and he just smiled happily. "Seems I always wind up in a different common room instead, but not this time! Good old second floor! Home base! I better take a moment to let this sink in, in case it starts happenin' again that I can't find it."

"No, I do that," said Butters. "I can even do it on my hands and everything, but not matter what, I never seem to wind up in the right spot. I think it might be an inter-dimension spacial-time disconinuum thingimajig."

"I'm on this floor, too," said Butters, "and I think that's why I have trouble."

"Yeah, that happens sometimes," Butters admitted a little ruefully. "But, hey, at least I made it and I know there's still some more Twinkies in the cupboard, so it all worked out for the best!"
