Third Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening
It had been a quiet week for Wesley, all things considered. So after his second class of the week on Thursday, he made his way up to the common room and, after briefly pondering the potential things he could do, decided to make eggs. Yes, it was evening, but that wasn't so strange, right? He felt odd, cooped up here, and a part of him was remembering how Angel and Cordelia always made eggs after a successful hunt. It had been so long since he'd last done that, and today's discussion of rogue-demon-hunter-ing had only reminded him.
He took his own portion of what he had made and left the rest plastic-wrapped on the counter, then went to sit on the couch. He ate and texted Cordelia, hoping to hear some sort of tale he could experience vicariously.
Wait. Impregnanted with a demon baby? That didn't sound good.

"Hey," he said, managing to say that to Wesley before digging out some leftover pizza of his from the refrigerator and finding a seat. "Doing a breakfast for dinner thing there?"

"You're welcome to have some, if you'd like -- " he started to say, then spotted the pizza and laughed. "Or not."

"My, ah... my friends back in Los Angeles do this often too," Wesley offered in return. "It's a... comforting little ritual."

"Cold pizza might work just as well," he added helpfully. "It has that same sense of being slightly out of balance."

...More right than you knew, Wes.

Hey, if he was gonna pretend not to know her, she wasn't going to give him her real name yet.

"I said forgot, not lying. Like lying's such a big deal." She ate her eggs as ostentatiously as possible. "But whatever. What's your prob with Jason?"

Then he did a double-take.
"Which does not mean you're welcome to any of my belongings on my actual person," he felt compelled to add.

That's not damning him with faint praise, really. Kenzi could count the number of people she said that about on the fingers of one hand, and have a few left over.
"You just need to lighten the hell up."

"I see," he said dryly. "Well. Thank you for your evaluation; I'll make sure to take that under advisement."

FOOD. Also, violence! Also, travel! Also, wallets!

"The abundance of pockets to pick?" he guessed. "Or something else entirely?"
