Fifth floor common room - Late morning

It was almost nearing noon when Faramir returned from that morning's ride. He'd ridden far, had even crossed to the mainland so when he return, his stomach was growling. Which meant that the common room was his first stop. He'd change out of his ranger drab later. A quick survey of the fridge had him pulling up eggs and bacon which would be plenty for a hearty meal.

He'd turned on the radio to one of the classical music channels and Faramir was humming along as he finished up his omelet and boiled some water to make tea.

[Open as common rooms are.]

"If not tea," Alexander laughed, "I was going to suggest coffee, but tea actually sounds quite pleasant."

"Oh, no, thank you."

Alexander was plenty sweet enough already. Har har.

"It seems a crime to add sugar to perfectly good tea. Assuming, of course, that you'll be making perfectly good tea."

"I'm sure it will be fine," Alexander assured Faramir as he took the cup from the other gentleman. "Luckily, my standards on tea are not particularly high to begin with, and I'll just be pleased if you don't insist on reminding me to keep my pinky out or some other such nonsense like that."

"I'm fairly certain that the pinky thing is mostly just for ladies," said Alexander, shaking his head and taking a sip without his pinky, "but my sister insists it's for everyone. I think she's trying to just set me up for looking silly at some functionary event."

"I believe you've mentioned that before," Alexander realized with a grin. "Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure Rosella would do everything she could to make sure that, even if he got along well with her, that she didn't get along well with him."

Especially if he got along well with her.
