Sam could deal with chilly weather and he could deal with rain. He'd lived in Seattle and he got used to being either cold or damp. This type of weather was different though. Sam really didn't wanna deal with going outside and having parts of his body go numb because they were cold. He was just damn thankful that the cabins were heated. Sam didn't think Toby would appreciate freezing his feline ass off.

Toby was currently being smart by sleeping curled up in the nest of blankets in his alcove. Sam couldn't blame him, this was sleeping weather but he wasn't tired. He'd dragged his record player out into the living room and was currently listening to one of his records at a low volume. There was a skateboarding magazine opened on his lap and a cup of coffee in his hand.

This is what Sam decided had to be done in weather like this. Sure, he could have done out and tried to skateboard but that would have been a freak show worthy of laughing. Nope, he was gonna stay inside and be lazy.
