Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

Alex, finding herself in need of caffeine, wandered on down to the common room for a quick fix.

She set up the coffee pot and plopped down on the couch, while it brewed. It might be a bit late for coffee for some people but she could drink it whenever, wherever and it wouldn't bother her.

She grabbed the remote and turned on the tv, wondering if there was anything on worth watching.

It had been a busy day for Bruce. Returning from the Land of the Green Isles, stopping in for class this morning, then a day spent setting up a secret cave, he was in of a quiet night. But when he heard the TV, he decided that quiet could be a relative term.

"Hey, Alex," Bruce said, showing a grin when he walked into the room. "Is the TV behaving?"

"Hey Bruce," she replied, a smile on her face. "It seems to be, so far. Why? Has it been misbehaving lately?" Alex hadn't watched television in quite some time, so she wouldn't have known if it had.

"Not down here, usually," Bruce said. "But the fifth floor is a completely different story."

"Let's hope it doesn't move on down to here," Alex frowned, wondering if that was even possible. Then again, it's Fandom. "And here's hoping the fifth floor television gets its act together and behaves."

"It hasn't since I've been here, so I'm pretty sure it's set in its ways," Bruce said. "But it keeps dorm life interesting. You never know what someone's going to walk in on you watching."

"Guess it's one of those Fandom things you can't change," Alex admitted. "I bet some embarrassing moments had to have happened because of that. I'm just sad I missed them," she joked.

"You haven't missed much. At least nothing too embarrassing," Bruce said. "But that's probably because I'm not easily embarrassed. I'm usually even able to spin bad reality shows into some kind of conversation."

"If it's a good conversation starter, then I suppose it can't be all that bad," Alex grinned. "Like you said, it definitely keeps things interesting. And I'm sure it's entertaining for a few people on the floor."

"Mostly they'll stare for a few minutes and try to figure out why I'm watching something like that," Bruce said. "I guess I have a reputation."
