Today was going to be an extra special episode of iCarly. Don't ask how he got convinced to do this or why he was doing it at all, but Freddie was dressed as a turkey. Which made doing the normal tech checks a little odd.

"I still think it's too early to be doing Thanksgiving stuff," Freddie grumbled as he checked the shutter on the camera.

"I'm sorry, all I heard was 'gobble gobble gobble'," Carly teased via the feed from Seattle.

"...this is gonna be a long night," Freddie said.

Sam came in and blinked at Freddie.

"Dammit, now I'm hungry."

"...you're joking," Freddie said. "I don't look anything like a real turkey."

"No, but you got me thinking about it. And I really want a turkey."

That's right, not some turkey, a turkey. A whole goddamn butterball. Preferably with stuffing.

"Maybe there's a place in town that sells them," Freddie said, slightly boggled still. "I could Zaplook to see if any of them deliver."

"Don't promise me delivery turkey lightly, Benson."

"I'm not promising, I said I'd look!" Freddie said. "I know better than to promise you food that I'm not sure about. That's how I lost my last pair of shoes!"

"And how Spencer lost those goldfish," Carly added.

"Those shoes had it coming! And I saved the goldfish from the fire."

"I'm not sure 'saved' is the right word," Freddie said. "So. Everything set for the show, or do we need to stall for time?"

"I still don't have a turkey," Sam pointed out.

On the feed, Carly rolled her eyes.

"I never said you'd get it before the show," Freddie said. "And... yes. I've ordered a turkey for you. It'll be ready by the time the show is over."

"Oh." Sam blinked, not sure what to say. Why'd he have to go and be so nice all the time? "Okay, then."

"Sam, what do you say?"

Sam rolled her eyes. "Thanks, Wattle-Face."

Said Wattle-Face made a face at Sam and then added. "You're welcome. Okay, so take your marks, we're live in just under two minutes."

In 5, 4, 3, 2...

They possibly will introduce themselves in a silly way!

"I'm sweet," said Carly.

"I'm sssssspicey!" said Sam.

"Just like chocolate covered chili peppers!" said Carly.

"Man, now I want those."

"I thought you wanted turkey."

"I can't have both?"

Wherein they will do guest-y type things.

This will end well. Really.

True to the segment's name, the camera in Seattle cut to show Gibby Gibson at a microphone, standing in front of a crowd of gathered kids sitting cross-legged on the floor. Along with Spencer.

"So, the other day, I was at the grocery store, and I see this bottle of something called Ovaltine. And it wasn't even shaped like an oval!"

The crowd of children and Spencer erupted in laughter.

"What's the deal with airplane food, any way? Why would anyone want to eat food that's shaped like an airplane?"

Again, despite the joke being terrible, a chorus of laughs.

"Guess what?" Gibby paused. "Chicken butt!"

Another round of raucous laughter.

"Thank you, you've been a great audience."

That's sadly all the time they had...

"And we're clear," Freddie announced. "I cannot wait to get out of this stupid costume."
