Sixth Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

It was Petra's birthday, and she was throwing her own party, thank you very much, because she deserved a party, and also cake. There were streamers and balloons, a cake she'd picked up at J,GoB (She didn't realize it yet, but the inside looked like this. It would be a delightful surprise) and ice cream, along with chips and dips and plenty of other moddable snacks and drinks. There was a handwavey party playlist pumping from Petra's iPod's speaker dock, and there was a ball pit. What more could any party want? Petra was pretty sure the answer was nothing. Come on, ball pit.

The birthday girl was wearing a green velvet party dress and her sparkly gold boots. She had on black leggings under the dress, though, because she was totally getting in that ball pit and didn't want to flash anyone. Especially, you know, considering, but mostly just in general.

((Open party is open to all!))

"Whoa, really?" Freddie said. "Then that's really awesome. I don't think I've known many tailors, actually. I mean, my mom used to sew... actually, let's not get into that. But very cool. Any sort of creative skill is great, and especially when you're good at it like you obviously are."

Freddie chuckled. "I guess it's all relative," he said. "I mean, it's easier for me to do a lot of techy things or prop work, but when it comes to writing actual comedy bits, I can't really do it as well as others. So... everybody's got their own talents and stuff. The important thing is how you bring them together, really."

"The ball pit was already here?" Freddie said. "Oh man, we've been missing out on great iCarly bit material this whole time. I kinda thought you'd been responsible for it."

"That I'm pretty sure I knew about. But water and broadcasting equipment are a really bad mix. Though, so is gravy and we've done that more than once," Freddie said, suddenly pondering that whole thing. "But speaking of, you're more than welcome to come back on iCarly any time. More than a few fans keep asking when people from the debate will show back up."

"I can guarantee you gravy immunity," Freddie said. "And all other weird substances. We usually reserve that for Gibby. And people that Sam has something out for."

"It's... tricky to know whether she does or not," Freddie admitted, having his own particular sentiments on that issue right now. "But awesome. You showing up would definitely make some of our fans really happy."

"Or will kiss you for existing again," Freddie said. "I mean, I wouldn't go that far." Because he valued his continued existence, and he... well, he kinda really liked Sam. "You just have to know he particulars."

"Probably, yeah," Freddie said. "That was kind of overshare on my part. Sorry."

He was just still all confused on that front, really.

"Kind of the latter," Freddie said. "We've not, uhhh, given it a real serious talk or anything yet. So it's all very new and... yeah. And we have to be careful otherwise we'll cause another flame war on the iCarly forums."

"Thanks," Freddie said. "And... I probably should stop hogging your time. A lot of people want to wish you a happy birthday. So I'm gonna go... jump in the ball pit. Because someone has to."
