Sixth Floor Common Room, Thursday Evening

It was Petra's birthday, and she was throwing her own party, thank you very much, because she deserved a party, and also cake. There were streamers and balloons, a cake she'd picked up at J,GoB (She didn't realize it yet, but the inside looked like this. It would be a delightful surprise) and ice cream, along with chips and dips and plenty of other moddable snacks and drinks. There was a handwavey party playlist pumping from Petra's iPod's speaker dock, and there was a ball pit. What more could any party want? Petra was pretty sure the answer was nothing. Come on, ball pit.

The birthday girl was wearing a green velvet party dress and her sparkly gold boots. She had on black leggings under the dress, though, because she was totally getting in that ball pit and didn't want to flash anyone. Especially, you know, considering, but mostly just in general.

Butters blinked, and then his eyes started roving over the room and all the space and constructing all the possibilities wrapped up in that small little suggestion and it was like looking at the world all awash with fresh snow on a brilliant Christmas morning.

"Wowee," he murmured in awe. "You could probably put the train right through the ball pit and everything!"

"My Santa Fe Trudge Master really does need another good run or two," Freddie said with a grin. "I've only tested her the once, but she's soooo good."

"You...have a Sante Fe Trudge Master?" asked Butters, finding himself barely able to keep from squealing. "Oh, man! Too bad I had to leave my Pennsy T1 back in South Park; Dad didn't want me takin' all the good ones, probably so he could play with 'em all himself. But really? Santa Fe, huh?"

"Oh, I love trains!" said Butters excitedly, practically hopping from one foot to the other because no one ever wanted to hear him talk about them, either. Not since third grade! This was so cool; why couldn't he have always gone to Fandom High, where things like this happened and no one punched him or called him names for liking trains? "And model cars and space ships and boats, too! This room up here could make the best course, too! Maybe it's not too late to ask for some stuff for Christmas, too!"
