First floor rec room, Friday evening -- iCarly broadcast!
Sam had laid down tarps on the rec room floor and hung more from the walls, today, which couldn't possibly bode well. She was currently setting up two tables on either side of the room and laying out an assortment of warm -- not hot, she'd learned that lesson after the last big Puckett family dinner -- dishes. There was fried chicken, grilled chicken, chicken liver pate. Chicken meatballs, chicken salad, chicken alfredo, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, chicken soup, chicken gravy, pulled chicken, chicken fingers, and even a couple whole roast chickens.
It was really, really, really, really hard for her not to just dig in right away. Everyone should admire the hell out of her restraint.
But, dammit, she was determined to actually get to have a chicken fight on the show, tonight.
[ooc: The post is open and the food smells delightful!]

Before the broadcast
But, dammit, that would give her less ammo later.
AGONY!

". . . The chicken fingers are calling my name." She held up two of the strips and moved them as if they were lips. "Listen to them: 'Sam! Sam, eat us, Sam! You know you want to!' Ohhh, I do, little chickeny strips. I do."

The show!
Re: The show! - Opening bit
"And I will EAT YOUR SOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUL!" said Sam.
"And she's apparently metal," said Carly. "And together, we're iCarly!"
Sam pushed a button on her remote to play some public domain metal, and they started rocking out.
Re: The show! - and now presenting. . . .

Re: The show! - and here's our very special guest. . . .
"That's a lot of chicken," she noted. Helpfully. "...You sharing?"
Re: The show! - and here's our very special guest. . . .
"Well, that depends on your definition of share," Freddie said. "Say hello to the internet, Karla."
Re: The show! - and here's our very special guest. . . .
It took her a second, but finally she figured out what going on. "Is this your show thing? Does it always involve dinner?"
Because if it did, Karla was going to start crashing far more often.
Re: The show! - and here's our very special guest. . . .
She possibly should have thought this whole "chicken fight" concept through more thoroughly.
Re: The show! - and here's our very special guest. . . .
And if on cue, her stomach growled. See? She was huuuungry!

Re: The show! - Chicken fight!
Or just Freddie.
Or she could attempt to eat it all herself.
Re: The show! - Chicken fight!
But pouting wasn't going to last very long. Not when there was a chicken fight to be won! With Sam diving for one table, Karla was heading for the other, ducking down behind it while she surveyed her ammo.
Oh, a nice pile of chicken livers? And meatballs?
"Incoming!"
Re: The show! - Chicken fight!
Mmmmm, chicken.
She grabbed two handfuls of pate and flung them in Karla's direction, then dropped again, making her way towards the bucket of fried at the end of the table.
Re: The show! - Chicken fight!
Was that going to stop her? Hell no!
There was a ladle and there was chicken salad. Funny how those two things went together to make a sling of chickeny destruction.
Re: The show! - Chicken fight!
Mmmmmm, mayonaisey. Chicken fights were the best fights.
Re: The show! - Chicken fight!
Mmmm. Totally worth getting into a food fight for.
