Third Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

So after their...uh, the movie they'd seen last night, Topher and Billy had handwavily or not, it depends headed back to the common room to watch a Space Battles marathon. And... apparently they'd fallen asleep there.

Waking up, Topher opened his eyes, slowly lifted his head off of Billy's shoulder (what? He was comfy!), took in the room, and shrieked at the top of his lungs.

"OH MY GOD!"

[[open like a weird weekend common room, omg. no, i did not set an alarm to wake up and post this. YOU CAN'T PROVE ANYTHING.]]

By this point in their friendship, Billy was starting to get used to waking up with Topher on top of him (what? He was warm!), but the shrieking was different and somehow Topher had ended up on top of his boob--

Wait, that wasn't right.

Billy's eyes shot open, and proceeded to get wider as he took in the sight of the two of them. "What the--what?!"

"Oh my god what is this?!" Topher demanded of... pretty much no one, looking down at his shirt and the horrifying protuberances there. "Oh my god no this is horrible no no no no absolutely not no."

So Topher was a bit alarmed.

"This is going to be one of those weekends, isn't it," Peter said, collapsing in a chair.

No, he had no idea who this girl was supposed to be. Neither did he care.

By now Lex had figured out that bed-hair wasn't his only problem, and even found some of his clothes that fitted, but you know what was an even better distraction from an incipient freak out than looking through your cupboard and fighting with a brush?

Someone else screaming. Hopefully for an entirely different reason.

Which would be why he'd bolted down the hallway and jumped down the steps in hopes of a sudden alien invasion. Please let it be a sudden alien invasion. "What is it?"

"I have things!" Topher shrieked, looking nothing less than aghast. He stared down at the (frankly unimpressive) breasts under his shirt like they had just murdered his family. "I just -- I mean -- what!?"

"This is so, so not right," Billy was saying, when he glanced up. "Are you usually a guy? Tell me this isn't just us?"

"You know, if we're going to behave like that every time something like this happens, I feel like we're going to be doing it a lot," Peter complained.

Though really, as far as weird changes went, this one was nicely non-humiliating in a very 'you can't tell who I am' kind of way.

...and if it was permanent, it might be a good way to get out of 'having to deal with being sixteen in reality when I'm a bigwig on the nets'.

Natalie, still unaware that the island was having one of its moods, was on her way up to the roof. But when she thought she'd heard shrieking coming from the third floor common room, she had to stop by and poke her head in, one eyebrow raised.

"Is there a problem?"

"Yes!" Topher squawked. "Look!"

Sadly, the change of sex had not been accompanied with much of a change in vocal pitch. So it was possible that Natalie might recognize a familiar voice there.

"Aside from waking up in a body not your own, you mean?" Toby asked.

"You'd better be Natalie, and not the latest in a long line of people wearing her face," Peter exaggerated idly.

He wasn't going to tell her who he was. Yet.

"Oh stop being so dramatic."

This wasn't Jace's floor but this was the floor that always seemed to have the super strong coffee. Which would be why he was here and eye rolling at shrieking guys-to-girls. Or what he presumed was shrieking guys-to-girls.

"HOW CAN I STOP BEING SO DRAMATIC THIS IS THE WORST THING EVER!"

"I think we have every right to be dramatic!" Billy said from the couch. "This is weird even for this place."

"You read my mind." Yeah, sometimes Toby thought he was funny. "Seriously, it's not the end of the world."

"Seriously," Peter agreed, as he finally noticed someone who wasn't freaking out like an idiot. "Personally, I'm guessing PMS."

Some people might be inclined to hide in their rooms given today's weirdness, but Toby... Toby'd decided to go the "misery loves company" route. Although he wouldn't quite describe his feelings at being a girl as misery exactly.

...The point was, he headed for the biggest group of people he could 'hear'. Deliberately.

"Not having a good morning?" he asked, just stopping himself from adding a 'Topher' on the end of that sentence.

"This is the worst," Topher whined, ravenously chugging a can of Mountain Dew. Because that would make the pain go away.

After her wakeup call from Zoe, Jack was anything but happy and after... trying to dress with what clothes she had, he stomped down to the common room and saw that she wasn't alone.

"I hate this island," she declared. "And I need coffee."

Because somehow those two thoughts meshed together in her mind and made sense.

"The bald guy who isn't bald wanted alcohol," Topher volunteered. By now he was at least breathing. Mostly. "And I have Mountain Dew."

"Stop making that noise, Topher," Peter muttered, shuffling into the common room wearing boxer shorts and a t-shirt.

The whole girl thing hadn't quite dawned on him yet, but by now he could recognise a Topher shriek at a hundred paces, female or not.

"Oh my god put something else on!" Topher shrieked, recognizing Peter pretty quickly and wanting nothing to do with any of that view, thank you.

Upon hearing all the shrieking start, Anna rushed toward the source, worried that something might really be wrong. She was in such a hurry she walked half-through the door frame instead of the doorway, but she didn't really notice and she was hoping no one else would, either.

Yeah, good luck with that.

"What, what is it?" she asked, looking around for some kind of threat. "What's wrong?" All she saw was a bunch of girls she didn't really recognize, but that was hardly new this month.

"A bunch of us woke up with girl-parts," Toby offered helpfully. "...I'm Toby," he added, after a moment.

New girls everywhere, that Kenzi didn't know! So yes. Random pictures were being taken as she asked, "Okay, who is everyone? Topher, if you're in here, raise your hand!"

"What are you doing with that camera?!" Billy said, grabbing for a couch pillow to try to cover his face. "Kenzi!"
