Fifth Floor Common Room [Sunday Afternoon]
Chuck had tried so, so hard to hide away this entire weekend. That was how long these usually lasted, and he'd managed to avoid island crazy in that way a few times before. It worked for him.
And it had worked this time! Mostly. But without preparation there was only so long he could hole up in his dorm room reading and living off chips and candy before hunting down something a little more like... well, real food became necessary, and as such, leaving his safe-haven. From experience of these things, everyone went down at once, but as he recalled not everyone looked like girls they knew, and somehow that was worse. He'd blocked out this particular memory when meeting Annie for a reason. It made his head hurt in so many ways, and him uncomfortable in so many more.
So he planned to make this little outing as short (and himself as blendy) as possible. Keeping a hoodie up while making cereal might not necessarily the most subtle choice, but was what he went with.
[[ Open common room, with potential for bouts of SP as I have guests. ]]

He managed after a moment of recovery to get out a strangled "Hi," and remembered not to turn around. "Did uh, did you want the Lucky Charms?" Please say no, he might just throw them at her in a state of panic.

"It's probably not good for me either, but I think if you don't let your sugar high drop off until you're asleep it's probably a pretty good way to keep you going. Or maybe I just hope it is. Don't you think?"
And if he babbled, maybe she wouldn't notice anything else.

"I think this is more the result of trying to life off only the things in my room, than the Lucky Charms. I haven't eaten these yet." Still babbling. "So really, they're not at fault."

Still babbling. "... Maybe." He pushed the bowl a little further away all the same.
Yes, he'd have cornflakes, thank you Annie.

Apparently, no such luck.
"Oh. Uh, hi."

At least, the chances of this person actually being the owner of this face were lower now he'd already run into her.
"Hi?" He should work on sounding more sure about that.

"Don't mind me."

"I could skip the milk and just eat the whole box and stay in my room longer that way..."
[Sorry, ended up having a dinner guest and had to disappear]

"... Not you," he clarified.

"Me? I'm-- cereal," he wheezed out, eventually coughing and clearing his throat. "Eating, the cereal. But uh, not actually... Not Annie. Sorry." Best to get that out there, even if it wasn't in the most intelligible form.

She was a bit confused.
no subject
"So... No, still very much not Annie."

This was a very weird sort of magic at play.

"We're working through it." She yelled at him for being a face stealer, Chuck babbled apologetically. It sort of counted.

She gave a little curtsy in her plain off-white dress. "Dorothy Gale. It's nice to meet you."

Still, she'd been hiding in her room, and also only ventured out in search of food, wearing a sweatshirt and lounge pants, her hair thrown back in a messy bun, no makeup. She looked pretty much like hell.
"Hey, Annie," she said distractedly as she opened the cabinet to get a bowl for herself. "How's it going?"
no subject
"Aside from the yelling if she found out, I don't think I need any help adding to any future identity crisis issues on either of our sides."
Still babbly. Sorry Petra.
