Anarchist Philanthropist Club, Tuesday After Classes

Today, when the Anarchist Philanthropist club met, it was outside. Jim was grinning, a surfboard-like object tucked under one arm, and a few (reusable fabric) grocery bags slung over his other shoulder. Out of the bag were poking a few pieces of paper with little foil packets taped to them. At least two of these things (the grin and the environmentally friendly bags stuffed with things) were shared by his compatriot and fellow not-leader as well, though Britta’s grin definitely had a certain smirking quality to it, too.

Bet you can't guess where this one is going, guys.

"Hey, all," Jim greeted, nodding to the group. "Since today is Valentine's Day, which I guess is some big Earth holiday about love and candy and cheap greeting cards, and since everyone has been feeling a little... you know... lately," because you did know, and he was too Disney to go into detail, damn it, "Britta and I figured it couldn't hurt to put out some educational material today, and something that people around the island will find useful, all things considered."

“Because, let’s face it,” Britta offered, “Valentine’s Day is a horrible corporate ploy to get people to buy things by playing on women’s insecurities and propagating the idea that, in order for a relationship to be successful, you need to collect on materialistic possessions or have something proven to you, but it’s also a good time to get laid and have some fun.”

Britta? Not so Disney.

Jim kind of side-eyed Britta for a moment before clearing his throat and continuing. "So, we took it upon ourselves to try to clear up those... misconceptions about things. And to help accommodate all of the... fun..." Jim was not having difficulty with this, shut up. "In the bags are pamphlets about.... fun... things... And some... you know. And we're going to hand them out."

Informational materials about sex, with condoms taped to them, Jim. Spit it out, the words won't bite.

"Or just kind of litter the island with them," he added as an afterthought. Because that part was way easier to wrap his little virgin mind around.

Britta wasn’t snickering the whole time, really! Okay, she was, but most of it was just because Jim was adorable. “So go out there, fellow anarchists! Let’s litter this town with knowledge! Fill the streets! Plaster every immovable surface! Who knows? You might even get a little lucky with it, too.”

Maybe some of that fresh air will cool everyone off....or, you know, make things worse since it’s the fresh air that’s the whole problem this week. Either way, before everyone settles into business, hang out, catch up, make eyes at each other and just don’t ask what happened to last week’s meeting. By not having one, it was more anarchist, right?

Matt really wasn't one for making eyes at people. Mostly because he couldn't see. You see?

He was however there to support the group and provide help any way he could.

And mingle of course.

So, Surreal was back, again, today. It wasn't like she had anything better to do, and she'd probably just end up back in the salle.

"Everyone knows how to use these, right?" she called out, after they'd all gotten their supplies. "I can show you, if you need."

...she kinda just wanted to blow a few up again. Details.

"HA!" Yes, Kenzi was totally behind this. And hoping more people would stop by 'Dite's, too.

Hank wasn't making eyes at anyone. Because he didn't have his hat.

Instead, he was sweating a little and shifting anxiously.

Wow, outside! Rinoa hadn't been outside since ... it had been a while. She'd gone to class earlier but that wasn't really outside. They'd missed the dance. So ... Thursday? Maybe? It was all pretty fuzzy.

Hey, condoms!

"Can I just have these?" she asked no one in particular. Her stash was getting low. They'd get used, honest. Plus it meant she could get back to Squall's room faster. Win-win.

Grab a bag of pamphlets and condoms and chart your course through the town with them. Feel free to travel around on your own or in pairs, to plaster them to bulletin boards, sneak them into businesses ~~with permission from their owners~~, stand on corners and hand them out, or let them fall from the sky, if you've got the ability to fly around with them. Make paper airplanes out of them and dive-bomb from the rooftops. Go nuts! Condoms for all!

Matt might have gotten a little bit of a heads up on today's excursion but...

Well, let's be honest. Matt was just thinking of keeping it all for himself.

Kenzi was trying to decide whether to head for the Perk or J,GoB first. Or possibly MoobyLand.

Hank peered into his bag, blushed, and snickered. "Condoms!" he chuckled. "Someone's totally gonna get laid with these!!!"

One of which is more likely to horde a few of the free condoms. Three guesses which one!

Why yes, Jim had brought his surfer today. Because so help him, it was February, but at least flying around in the cool air would let him...

And show off a little while he was doing it, too! There was that!

"Whatcha got there, handsome?" Look, Kenzi wasn't jumping guys. But the flirtiness had to come out somehow. The verbal filter was pretty much gone.

"What, this?" Jim hefted up his surfer so that Kenzi could get a better look. "It's my surfer. Uh, it flies."

The 'handsome' remark was sailing blissfully over his head. For the moment.

[Sp for another hour or so- I'm still at work, alas!]

Okay, Rinoa envied the flying. She wanted to get her wings out, but the wings went with things like explosive spells and not having hot naked time. Except that one time when things got weird, but Jim really ... didn't need to know about that.

"So ... is everyone all ... oversexed lately?" she asked. "I think I missed that."

Not that she hadn't noticed it personally. Just that she had failed to notice that it applied to everyone.

And in one little question, Jim's brain needed to just pause to reset itself, because huh what words sex gah!

Which, really, was a silly reaction from a kid who was helping to hand out condoms with little pamphlets and all, but...

"Yes?" Yes! Yes was definitely the answer, here. "Except for the ones who are all... no?"

Pinkie was there, looking as cheerful as ever. It was probably best not to ask if she was feeling affected by the current . . . conditions.

Really, no one wanted to know.

Jim certainly didn't, that was for certain.

Anyhow, he had more important things on his mind. Like cupcakes.

"Hey, Professor Pie," he greeted, stepping up to her with that little grin he was wearing still on his lips. "I have something for you."

It was just over there, propped up against a nearby tree. A pony-sized solar surfer, with a few extra foot-grips, clearly built with somebody with hooves in mind. It had taken Jim a bit longer than he'd figured it would, but could anyone blame him? He was working with Earth materials, here.

[For the slowest of play? I'm technically at work right now.]

"Oooo!" Pinkie exclaimed. "It's so shiny! . . . what is it?"

Alas, Pinkie logic didn't extend right into "that will let me fly".

The management totally condones the use of condoms in the creation of balloon animals.
