Kappa Delta Gremlin- 6th floor common room- Thursday after classes

It was just Annie leading the group today, and she did not look on edge at all. Nope. Not at all. It was hard to look on edge when you were trying to repress within an inch of your life!

"Rilla's at home at the moment, so it's just me today," she began. Which might not be the worst thing since Annie wasn't sure she could look her in the eye yet. Thanks, Loki. "And next week is spring break, so we won't be having a regular meeting here. Though if anyone going on the trip maybe wants to get together for a girls' night or something, let's hear your ideas!

"And," she said, looking just sliiightly uncomfortable, "I know this week has been really... distressing for a lot of people, and at times like this it's really important to know some ways to... relax." Hush, Rebecca. "I know in classes we've covered things like meditation, and plenty of people have been trying to get the word out about safe sex. And know that you can always go down to the clinic for information and materials. Or to get tested. So! With that out of the way, I thought we could maybe take some of the stress out in a healthy, physical way."

No, not like that. Because when Annie stepped aside, she gestured to a super-neat stack of fluffy pillows behind her. "I figured we could have a good old-fashioned pillow fight. I've got a few different types, including feather and memory foam. They're sorted by type and size. You don't have to worry about putting them back in place when you're done. I'll put everything back in order."

You really didn't see what she was like when she was on the drugs that made her super super focused, you reeeeeally didn't.

When the mentions of sex started, Dorothy just started staring.

And was instantly relieved when all that Annie was talking about was a pillow fight. Though it did seem a little childish... but she also thought it sounded a lot of fun.

Rebecca eyed Annie with her usual dose of 'I'm so cool 'cause I'm jaded and not easily impressed.' Sigh, Becs.

"Is she for real?"

"You think she might be an illusion?" Dorothy asked Rebecca, not familiar with that particular bit of slang. "She's real, she's my big sibling."

She honestly thought she was being helpful.

Rebecca raised an eyebrow.

And paused.

"I see her," she assured Dorothy. Condecendingly. Oh, Rebecca, don't be a bitch.

"You asked if she was real," Dorothy said with a happy smile that was in no way smug. "So I wanted to tell you yes, she is."

"I asked if she was for real," Rebecca clarified, like she thought Dorothy was especially slow.

"For real what?" Dorothy said, completely not following. "I'm not sure what you're saying."

Poor turn of the former century farm girl really needed some lessons in modern slang.

"I mean, is she serious," Rebecca explained.

"Ohhhh," Dorothy said, finally understanding. She shrugged. "I don't see what she wouldn't be. Is there a reason you think she's joking?"

Perhaps about the pillow fight, Dorothy thought. It did seem a little odd.

Stacey was here, and... this all seemed a little babyish to her. It might be fun, though?

Hanna didn't even blink at the pillow fight suggestion. Mostly because there'd already been one earlier in class today. It did sorta help with the frustration and stress.

Seriously? Okay.

Quinn grabbed a pillow and bounced it between her palms, wondering if anyone was a likely target.

"Hey!" Quinn was surprised.

Which, of course, she showed by flinging a pillow back at Annie, a little less accidentally.

Quin noticed that when she caught it. "Okay, this is the fluffiest pillow ever," she said, tossing it as high as she could. It was vaguely in Annie's direction, but she wasn't aiming. "Whose is it?"

Rebecca made it very clear in her posture and expression that she was just humoring them. Yes. Very clear indeed.

But there she stood, with a pillow in hand, and she was so going to get pillow-fought within an inch of her life, wasn't she?

And that would be Jack after a long afternoon of dealing with... stuff walking into the room to find ANY kind of distraction.

Girls having a pillow fight? Not the distraction he was looking for.

So he stood there. Eyes bugging out at the sight before once again remembering that all of these girls were about his daughter's age.

"Going to hell!" he announced as he covered his eyes and turned to leave. Of course he walked straight into a wall instead of the door.

"So going to hell!" he continued as he fumbled and then tripped his way out of the room.
